• hold on: To wait for someone (e.g. on a phone call)
• off key: Not in the correct key; not in tune.
• on the ground: Located on the surface of the earth.
• struggle: To try very hard to do something difficult
• clip: A metal holder used for keeping things together

• roar: To laugh in a loud and continuous manner
• cross: Angry and upset
• hear: To be aware of sound; to perceive with the ear
• line: Border that divides two places or regions
• lose: To be unable to keep in check or control something
• fly: Common flying insect, sometimes blue in color
• care: To feel interest, concern, or worry
• die: Cube with dots numbering 1-6 on it used in games
• voice: Ability to sing well
