  • - I HAVE TO BE HONEST.

  • I'M HAVING A ROUGH MONDAY.

  • YOU EVER HAVE ONE OF THOSE DAYS,

  • EVERYTHING GOES WRONG?

  • OKAY.

  • THAT'S TODAY FOR ME.

  • PLEASE LISTEN AS I BRING YOU DOWN.

  • FIRST I WOKE UP,

  • AND THEN I WENT TO THE KITCHEN TO MAKE COFFEE.

  • AND I DO IT EVERY MORNING,

  • AND THE COFFEE MACHINE WAS BROKEN.

  • AND SO I THOUGHT, FINE, I'LL HAVE VODKA.

  • AND SO...

  • WELL, IT'S THE OLD SAYING, IF LIFE HANDS YOU LEMONS,

  • MAKE LIMONCELLO.

  • AND SO I WALKED INTO MY LIVING ROOM

  • AND I SAW ONE OF MY CATS CHARLIE

  • HAD THROWN UP ON THE RUG.

  • AND LET'S JUST SAY,

  • WE DON'T GOT NO RUGS FROM IKEA IN MY HOUSE.

  • SO...

  • I'M ON THE FLOOR CLEANING UP THE--

  • YOU KNOW, AND LOOK, I'M A COVER GIRL,

  • FOR HEAVEN'S SAKE.

  • THERE I AM ON THE FLOOR

  • CLEANING UP HAIRBALLS.

  • AND ONCE I FINISHED THAT,

  • I NOTICED THAT THERE WAS SAP ALL OVER THE FLOOR

  • FROM ONE OF OUR TREES,

  • AND THAT'S A PROBLEM WHEN YOU LIVE IN A BIODOME,

  • AS I DO.

  • AND SO I CLEANED THAT UP,

  • AND THEN I WENT BACK INTO THE KITCHEN.

  • I DECIDED, LET ME GIVE THE COFFEE MACHINE ANOTHER TRY.

  • AND IT WORKED.

  • APPARENTLY YOU HAVE TO TURN IT ON.

  • AND SO--

  • SO THE COFFEE CAME OUT OF THE MACHINE,

  • AND I GET MY COFFEE,

  • AND I START TO GET READY FOR WORK.

  • I TURN, BUT I KIND OF STEP BACKWARDS

  • AND DIDN'T SEE MY SAME CAT CHARLIE BEHIND ME,

  • SO I KIND OF TRIPPED OVER CHARLIE.

  • KIND OF--I DIDN'T FALL,

  • BUT THE COFFEE WENT EVERYWHERE.

  • SO I HAD TO STOP CHARLIE FROM LICKING UP THE COFFEE

  • WHILE I LICKED THE COFFEE UP,

  • BECAUSE AT THIS POINT, IT WAS PRECIOUS TO ME.

  • AND FINALLY I LEFT THE HOUSE.

  • I'M DRIVING TO WORK,

  • AND I WAS JUST SURPRISED.

  • PEOPLE ON THE ROAD ARE JUST NICE,

  • YOU KNOW, FOR A CHANGE.

  • EVERYBODY IS, LIKE, LETTING ME IN

  • AND HONKING AND PULLING ALONGSIDE.

  • AND I'M LIKE, THAT'S SO SWEET,

  • AND THEN I REALIZED I HAD FORGOTTEN TO GET DRESSED.

  • AND...

  • THAT PART'S NOT TRUE.

  • THAT'S NOT--I--

  • I FELT LIKE THE STORY WAS STARTING

  • TO LULL A LITTLE BIT, AND I WANTED TO EMBELLISH.

  • THE POINT IS, I KNOW THERE ARE GOING

  • TO BE DAYS WHEN THINGS DON'T GO AS PLANNED,

  • AND THAT'S WHY I ALWAYS REMEMBER THIS QUOTE:

  • "SURRENDER TO WHAT IS, LET GO OF WHAT WAS,

  • HAVE FAITH IN WHAT WILL BE."

  • AND THAT IS EITHER FROM THE BIBLE OR INSTAGRAM,

  • BUT EITHER WAY...

  • EITHER WAY, IT APPLIES.

  • SO IF YOU'RE HAVING A BAD DAY,

  • LET GO OF IT AND HELP ME SHAKE MINE OFF WITH THIS DANCE.

- I HAVE TO BE HONEST.
