that I wanted to roast  a big city police department

was the home of America's  very first police force,

a city that I've loved  since going to college there,

an officer was shot and tensions were running high.

- You know, this individual just shot one of our officers

- I don't know the details of what happened in Dorchester

- You know, the officers ran him down and tackled him

- Well, when I came on the job we had 160 homicides.

so the stricter gun laws and the community work we're doing

I want to break the stereotype out there that,

- I want people to see that what's playing out

because I want the public to know we're real people.

and give 'em a few laughs  before they hit the streets.

I'll make this quick 'cause I know most of you
