  • My journey with yoga began in the early 1990s.

  • I suffered a

  • near fatal head injury from high school football that

  • left me in a coma for almost six days and

  • after coming out of the coma I really needed something to

  • help me get grounded and find myself

  • to kinda rediscover myself

  • and yoga at that time

  • provided me that physical yet meditative aspects I needed to help me in my life.

  • Yoga has to really come from within.

  • It's a journey that starts from

  • in my opinion your heart and therefore

  • it must resonate from a deep level

  • where it is solely dependent on the person.

  • Everyday

  • there's a certain set of sun salutations

  • that I incorporate in my practice

  • to build heat and a sense of strength

  • and stamina. Yoga actually helps us

  • get in touch with our breath which gives us life and

  • by doing that we become more present to our own

  • being in our bodies so we can be more aware of

  • what's really going on inside us.
