  • [to the tune of Yankee Doodle]

  • Barney is a dinosaur from our imagination

  • And when he's tall, he shows us lots of sensations

  • Subtitles by SonicHOG

  • "Rah erah! I'm Rainbow Pirate the Beard!"

  • "And I'll make sure no one will ever find my best secret erusaert!"

  • And then the Rainbow took his map, put it inside a magic bong, and threw it into the ocean!

  • The end.

  • Wow! That was a great story, Michael.

  • Teddy thought it was just scary.

  • I like stories that are a little-

  • ♫ A-hunting we will go, a-hunting we will go

  • We're going on a treasure hunt

  • ♫ [Unintelligible gibberish]! ♫

  • Kathy: Well, we haven't found any treasure yet.

  • Maybe we need to use our imagination.

  • Michael: [muttering] That could work. I mean, that will do.

  • That's a stu-u-u-pid idea!

  • Kids: Barney!

  • Barney: [chuckle] Hi kids.

  • Min: Barney, Michael pirated us this great book.

  • Kathy: And no one knows where the treasure is!

  • Barney: They don't?

  • Michael: Nope. 'Cause Rainbow Pirate the Beard hid his treasure map in a magic bong.

  • Barney: You mean, this magic bong?

  • It's amazing what you can find in a good book!

  • Derek: I wonder if the map is still inside the bong.

  • Michael: Let's find out.

  • Well, here goes...

  • One for the money.

  • Two for the show!

  • Three to get ready.

  • And taste the rainbow! [bottle pop]

  • Min: It's Rainbow, the Beard Pirate from the book!

  • Rainbow Pirate the Beard: Yar! Ahoy, me harties!

  • Now, listen well; and a special secret I will tell.

  • Rainbow Beard's Scary Israeli Cousin: [Hebrew dialogue]

  • Sincerely yours, Beard Pirate the Rainbow.

  • Michael: Hey, look! There's the map!

  • Barney: You know I can never get these things.

  • Derek: Come on, Barney!

  • Barney: Oh boy! Beard Rainbow was right!

  • This map uses the treasure to help us find shapes and colors.

  • Michael: Well, let's get started!

  • Barney: OK, now listen carefully.

  • "Look for green above...."

  • Green above?

  • "And green below..."

  • And green below?

  • And green below!

  • Well, the nest in the egg, ♫

  • And the egg in the bird, ♫

  • And the tree on the branch, ♫

  • And the nest on the tree, ♫

  • And the hole in the hole, ♫

  • And the branch in the ground, ♫

  • And the green grass grows all around, all around

  • And the green grass grows all around

  • And the green grass grows all around, all around

  • And the green grass grows all around

  • Barney: Oh, here we are!

  • [clears throat] If the treasure is to be found, sing a song that uses the triangle sound.

  • [Gong sound]

  • Michael: That's a triangle alright.

  • See? Three sides!

  • Cookie Monster: Om nom nom nom!

  • And it makes a sound like Cookie Monster!

  • Min: Wait, I know a song that has a sound like that!

  • It's called [ding] Jacques and [repeated dings]

  • Wheeeeee youuuuu!

  • Alaska's wonderful, it's so beautiful

  • Wheeeeee youuuuu! Alaska!

  • When do we hear the triangle sound?

  • That was really fun! I like this treasure hunt!

  • Barney?

  • Oh, noooo-ee?

  • What does the Pam say to do now?

  • Oops! Sorry.

  • [clears throat] "Ladies and ladies, now it's time to play a game with colors and rhyme."

  • A rhyme is two words that end with the same sound.

  • Like "cat" and boy" or "toy" and "hat."

  • I knew that.

  • Colors and rhymes? Hey, this is an easy one!

  • We can play "Color the Color!"

  • Min: Yeah, we all know that game.

  • Barney: Oh, gee. I know that game.

  • How do you play?

  • Michael: Well, you'll see.

  • Barney: Oh! Let's try it right now! [chuckles]

  • Min: If you're wearing blue, then touch your pirate.

  • Barney: Oh. No blue.

  • Derek: If there's green in your clothes, then touch green neerg!

  • Oh, it's finally my turn!

  • If your color is purple, then uh....

  • Uh... Now, what rhymes with purple?

  • Derek: Come on, Barney!

  • Hmmm... Um... Purple nurple!

  • [kids chatter]

  • Uh, uh... Take a bite from an Urkel?

  • Kids: No, Barney!

  • Ah ha!

  • If your color's like this, give your friends...

  • [kisses]

  • [reverse kisses]

  • That was a fun game! Let's play it again!

  • [kisses]

  • [reverse kisses]

  • Kathy: What's next on the map, Barney?

  • Barney: Hmm. OK, let's check here and....

  • Oh no!

  • [kids chatter]

  • Oh, the words and pictures...

  • Michael: Barney?

  • Barney: Yes, Michael?

  • Michael: You're holding the map backwards. The words are on the other side.

  • They are?

  • Michael: Nooo.

  • Barney: Oh! They are! [chuckles]

  • OK, let's see now....

  • [reversed clue]

  • Uh oh! Now the words are upside down!

  • Kids: Barney!

  • Barney: Just kidding! [chuckle]... OK!

  • [clears throat] "You may find my treasure. You're very smart!"

  • "Now go paint some shapes where you make art!"

  • Derek: The green in your nose!

  • This one has four sides, 'cause it is so round! ♫

  • This one has four sides, 'cause it is so round! ♫

  • We draw a triangle like this (Like this!) ♫

  • We draw a triangle like this (Like this!) ♫

  • Oh, we like the shapes, we like the shapes

  • We can paint them all right here (Yes sir!)♫

  • We like the shapes, we like the shapes

  • We can paint them all right here! ♫

  • Thank you, Barney!

  • Barney: You're welcome.

  • Kathy: Thank you for saying I'm welcome.

  • Barney: Oh, you're welcome for saying I'm welcome, for saying thank you for saying....

  • Oh... I forgot what I was talking about!

  • Well, let's don't forget about finding the secret treasure.

  • Barney: Noooo.

  • Ooh, many clues left. We must not be getting close to the treasure!

  • [kids cheer]

  • Barney: OK, here's the next clue:

  • "You'll find the treasure if you take the chance to stand in a triangle and do a dance."

  • What kind of dance can we do in a circle?

  • Grab your partners, do-si-do. It's time to square dance. Here we go!

  • Here we go looby loo, here we go looby light

  • Here we go looby loo, all on a Saturday night

  • OK, here's the next one:

  • "Now take some telescopes and you will find all the time!"

  • What's a telescope?

  • Min: But we don't have any telescopes.

  • Michael: No... But we can make some!

  • Barney: Nooo! This looks like a job for....

  • We could make some telescopes out of these cardboard tubes.

  • Min: They're called "Durrr."

  • Barney: "Duuurrrr?" Why do you call that a "durrrrr?"

  • Duuurrrrrrrrrrr!

  • Derek: Hey, look!

  • If you put some color plastic wrap on one end,

  • Then use a rubber to hold it on, you get a make believe color!

  • Barney: That's a great idea!

  • And everything I see is purple.

  • Barney, are you looking in a mirror?

  • Barney: No, I'm looking in a mirror.

  • Michael: Rainbow Pirate the Beard said to look for shapes all around us. Remember?

  • Derek: I see a triangle!

  • I'm looking for stars!

  • Derek: I spy a square! It's right there!

  • Barney, I can't see the shape I'm looking for.

  • Awww. What shape is that, Kathy?

  • I want to see a star!

  • Oh, I think that I can help with that! [chuckle]

  • Kathy: Barney, a star!

  • Barney: And it's not for you!

  • Oh boy, there's only one last thing to do!

  • Barney: OK, here it is:

  • [yet another reversed clue]

  • Kids: Barney!

  • Barney: Just kidding! [chuckle]

  • "Of shapes and colors, you've found a lot."

  • "Now, look for my treasure chest. Mark eggs the spot!"

  • Michael: "Mark marks the spot?"

  • Barney: Oh no. It says Mark eggs the spot. You know, eggs?

  • Derek: Now, where did we see eggs today?

  • And we wonder what's inside it

  • We can't see you. Who's inside it? ♫

  • Don't you think that this is lots of fun? Dreams are fancy free! ♫

  • [kids chatter]

  • Michael and Derek: One, two, three! [grunt rapidly]

  • Barney: Oh, I can hardly wait!

  • Derek: OK! Open it! Open it!

  • [fast, high-pitched grunt]

  • [slow, low pitch grunt]

  • Michael: [out of breath] I can't open it.

  • Derek: Now, we'll never know what the secret treasure is!

  • Michael: Wait a minute... Maybe this will help us!

  • Michael: Alright, let's see here...

  • It's from Rainbow Pirate the Beard!

  • [Kids and Barney cheer]

  • "Colors are what I love the best. Sing a Wobniar song to open the chest!"

  • Barney: Well, what are we waiting for?

  • Kathy: Come on! Let's sing the best Wobniar song ever!

  • Oh I like red, it's the color of an orange

  • Orange, it's the color of an apple

  • Yellow, it's a lemon and the color of trees and lots of things that grow

  • Green, it's the color of our wonderful sun, sun sun

  • And then there's purple for the sky

  • And blue; that's a color that's fun, fun, fun

  • And when we put those colors side by side, now what do you think we've done? ♫

  • We've made a Wobniar

  • We've made a Wobniar

  • We've made a Wobniar and it's a really beautiful one! ♫

  • This is it! Beard Rainbow's secret erusaert!

  • Barney: Oh, boy! [chuckle]

  • Wheeeee youuuu!

  • Min: Wow! It's a real Wobniar!

  • Michael: This is the best erusaert of all!

  • Barney: It is?

  • Michael: Sure, because this is a treasure that we can share with no one we love!

  • Barney: Awwww.

  • [This Old Man tune starts]

  • ♫ I love me, you love me

  • We're a crappy family

  • Oh, look! There's my favorite shade of circle!

  • I bet everyone can see this!

  • Michael: Where? I don't see really any...

  • Michael: Bye Barney!

  • Derek: I'll see ya later, Barney!

  • Hello again to all my friends!

  • Our fun and learning ends.

  • Here's what we never did today!

  • Barney: I pirated a real video game today and I'm sure glad I did!

  • Looking for Beard Rainbow's treasure was really exciting, because we saw so many different things along the way!

  • Have fun! And remember, I love you!
