  • There are only a few things that annoy me as a substitute.

  • Here are five of them!

  • When I hear the same crappy trap music beats a hundred times a day coming from someone's

  • headphones

  • I get bitches. I get money. I get bitches 'cause I get money.

  • I get bitches 'cause I get money 'cause I sell drugs to other bitches.

  • It's just stupid stuff like that! Why are kids today more interested in being

  • trap kings/queens than being catalysts of social change?

  • Asinine music Drugs, hoes, and gangs: meaningless

  • Idols lead astray

  • When I spend the first five minutes of class introducing myself, explaining the assignment,

  • answering any questions about the assignment, and that one kid still asks, “What are we

  • supposed to be doing?”

  • It's fascinating that a kid can spend 84 minutes during class playing a game on his smart phone.

  • But when he's asked to give 5 minutes of attention at the beginning of class, he loses all focus!

  • Look, listen, observe... It is only your blunder

  • When you are adrift.

  • When a student refuses to start an assignment and says, "I'll do it in the last 10 minutes.

  • I always do!"

  • No, you won't!

  • I knew a guy once named Darko and he taught me what it means when you lie. He said, “If

  • you lie to me, one of two things must be true: either you think I'm stupid, or, you're an

  • asshole.”

  • So, which is it?

  • You wait and you wait. Goofing off and twiddling thumbs...

  • When you work, you eat.

  • When I have to use referral slips (or threats of them) to deal with behavior.

  • It's sad that some kids are more conditioned to FEAR a piece of paper than to RESPECT the

  • reasonable requests from adults.

  • That's all I can say about that...

  • In school: detention. In the real world: Imprisoned.

  • You choose your own fate.

  • When a student pretends like it hurts my life if he/she refuses to do an assignment.

  • I did 16 years of school.

  • What hurts me is seeing taxpayer money being dumped into a government system that's full

  • of kids that aren't taught the value of education because they're too busy getting beat down

  • by pointless assignments and big test preparation.

  • And to this, I say:

  • School for me is done. Learning is for a lifetime...

  • Your life begins now.

There are only a few things that annoy me as a substitute.
