it's quite interesting on the streets in Poland to see that

and in Taiwan

we don't

the numbers are usually random

we use indicators

and flash of our lights

on the road to inform about something

so for example

when you're passing the car

and the car let you pass them

they give you some space to pass them easily

for you to avoid the car

you will usually thank them

by thanking

we use the indicator sign

which is this broken car indicator, the triangle sign

you just press it

it's gonna shine for a while

and press it again

so it means thank you? that's it?

and can it means sorry?

if you do something stupid

and you do this as well?

people sometimes do that as well

so it's thank you or sorry

on the road

also you can use the flash

for exmaple

for informing people that they didn't turn their lights on

or you can also do the same

if you want to inform about the police

the person who is

facing you

the car is facing you

they saw the police is there

so they will use the flash as well

to inform you, there is a police near you

so just slow down

it was fun in the beginning for me

we use honk to say thank you

people are not drinking that much in Taiwan

drinking is not a problem in Taiwan

so we don't have this kind of law strictly being set

drink and drive, it is a problem

because of these accidents

people are trying to raise this topic

maybe we should set this law

like European countries, like America

but I don't hear much voice about this

and the next thing

Poland got Name's day, but Taiwan doesn't have it

Name's Day is different than birthday in Poland, right?

so you can have 2 birthdays basically?

I would say

younger generation don't do that at all now

we have Name's day

for example, I don't even know when is my Name's Day

everytime my grandma is calling me

she called and said: happy Name's day

I'm super surprised

because I don't even know I have Name's day on that day

how does it work about this Name's day?

we've got a calendar with names there

and your name....

for example

your name shows up at 16th of June

so that means on 16th of June, you got your Name's day

so is there lots of names in one day?

sometimes there are 2 names

sometimes...I don't know, maybe 3

Poland doesn't really do Name's day right now

it's mostly about older generations

because

they treat it as a birthday

they don't...

they don't really...

they are not focusing on birthday

they are focusing on Name's day more

and we're already like birthday people

so we rather spend time with our friends

on birthday

and also i think, it's because in Poland

the names are generally, pretty much the same

guys are like: Jacek, Mateusz

those few names

so it's easier for people

to categorize these names

because in our case

everybody got super different names

you can be super creative at names

train stations, bus stations

you have to pay for the toilet

it's pretty bad, because

sometimes you even pay 3zł

for one pee

and it's a lot, right?

yes it's a lot

just imagine, Poland is pretty big

comapring to Taiwan

and if you want to travel by bus

to another city

which will take you, for example 6hrs or 4hrs

there are stops in every station

so if you want to pee

you have to pay for evey toilet

also it's quite inconvenient

because of this long time travel

you're so nervous, because in the bus

there's no toilet

some buses do

I mean, lots of them, they don't

in this case, before you travel

you need to pee

of course you need to pee

and in the bus, you're like

I don't want to drink too much water

because I don't know when will be the next pee station

you're not that relax at driving

unfortunately

so in this case, train wins

I don't like train, but train wins

cuz train at least has toilet there

and you don't have to pay for it

but it's disgusting

smells, stinks

I had an experience in the train

that I went to the toilet

and the lock was kind of broken

because that train we took was pretty old

I'm like

ok, it's locked

then I'm peeing

after pee, I was going to wear my pants

and before I wear my pantie

a guy just OPEN THE DOOR

he really saw my...there

the conclusion about this

to "not to pay before travel"

you can go to the shopping mall

leaking the idea of who you're voting for

not showing who you vote for

so you can't show your ticket to the public

or make a selfie with it and upload it onto Facebook

it's definitely illegal

in Taiwan, when you go to convenient store

like 711 or Żabka this kind of store

you don't say "hello"

"hi, good morning" to those cashiers

so you just start the conversation with

I would like to buy this and that

yea or just hi

doesn't really matter if you say...greeting to them or not

but in Poland

people are very polite

even to strangers

so

whenever you start the conversation with the cashier

and so on

you say "hello"

and then you start to say what you want

and "goodbye"

and when you finish your shopping

you say "goodbye"

"thank you, goodbye!"

super, super polite for me

we don't really do that

and about "bon appetit"

when I'm working in the office

even though those colleagues they don't know you

they still say "smacznego"

wish you have a great appetit

when they say smacznego

you have to say: thank you

there might be animals crossing

from this forest to that forest

you can see cow and sheep

when you're driving at the countryside

across the city in Poland

I'm always so amazed by those cows

cuz they're SO CUTE!!
