  • (Finebros) Today you're going to be eating...

  • I'm scared. I don't know what it is.

  • (Finebros) ...this.

  • Aah! Oh!

  • (whimpering) Oh, what is that?

  • (gasps) No.

  • What is it?

  • Oh my god, I see a fish head.

  • I know what this is. Squid.

  • Wait, is this squid?

  • I see eyes. It's scaring me.

  • Is it calamari?

  • (sulkily) Squid?

  • Who wants to eat squid?

  • Oh, my mom eats this.

  • I'ma throw up when I get home.

  • Oh my gosh, that stinks.

  • It looks like they're just all dead.

  • Of course they are, but...

  • (softly) Oh my gosh. Oh my gosh.

  • I'm having my mental exercise to get me ready to eat this.

  • You have to give me popcorn for this.

  • (Finebros) All right, it's time to eat it.

  • Wait. Oh no, I'm eating it, all of this?

  • No! No!

  • It's raw.

  • It should be cooked.

  • (Finebros) You're right! We're going to give it to you cooked.

  • Then why'd you give me this fork?!

  • You guys tricked me.

  • I'm not gonna try that. It looks like an octopus.

  • Oh! It's calamari.

  • (crunching)

  • (mouth full) Calamari, I think.

  • That's calamari.

  • (takes deep breath)

  • Big breath, Brooke. You can do this.

  • (feeble grunt) I can't do this.

  • (slow crunching)

  • (grunts fiercly)

  • It's hard to bite.

  • Oh, this is a mini one.

  • Oh, look at the tentacles.

  • (chewing)

  • Love it.

  • Can I spit it?

  • (crunching)

  • (mouth full) It doesn't really have a taste. But I like it.

  • (mouth full) I'm gonna eat this all.

  • Every time I go to a sushi place, I always order calamari.

  • Done. Mm-mm-mm.

  • (crunching)

  • (grunts)

  • Don't judge me.

  • (crunching continues)

  • It's really hard to chew. That's why I spit that out.

  • It's crunchy like a french fry.

  • The texture's all crunchy.

  • And then in the inside, it's all chewy.

  • I just put this whole thing in my mouth five minutes ago,

  • and I'm still chewing it.

  • Here's the only weird thing about it: it's squid.

  • - (Finebros) You just ate squid. - Squid?

  • Oh wow. I can't tell my friends this.

  • I knew it!

  • It tastes so good!

  • (Finebros) But when you saw the raw squid,

  • you were disgusted by it.

  • That looked so horrible! But I love calamari.

  • (Finebros) The arms, head, tentacles,

  • and ink from a squid are all edible.

  • Doesn't seem like those things would be edible.

  • Oh my gosh. That is crazy.

  • Mr. Squid, you taste good.

  • (snickers) Really good.

  • (Finebros) Finally, do you recommend that people eat squid?

  • Probably yes.

  • Yes, I recommend people to eat squid, because it's so awesome.

  • Yes.

  • I do recommend it.

  • I think they should, because deep fried is deep fried.

  • Yes!

  • Don't judge me. It's really good.

  • Yeah, but don't eat all of 'em.

  • (emotionally) These squids have lives too!

  • Nope.

  • It is too much chewing.

  • People would really like to enjoy it,

  • but they would go, "Oh, what's taking forever?"

  • Squid. Squiddy, squid, squid.

  • Thanks for watching this episode of Kids vs. Food.

  • What food should we try next? Leave it in the comments.
