• found out: To learn or discover something, often after some effort.
• care of: Used in an address to indicate the person who will receive the mail for someone else.
• grow on: To cause someone to begin to like
• feel right: To seem correct or appropriate; to give a sense of being morally or ethically sound.
• come back: To reply to someone, often forcefully
• pretend: To act as if something is true when it is not
• panic: Overwhelming feeling of fear and anxiety
• bit: Device put in a horse's mouth to control it
• settle: To make (a child, etc.) feel calm/ready for sleep

• life: All the living things e.g. animals, plants, humans
• time: Speed at which music is played; tempo
• want: To desire or wish for something; hope for a thing
• lose: To be unable to keep in check or control something
• salad: Uncooked vegetables made into a dish
• dale: Area of low land between hills or mountains
