Is there a single report today of something going awry with ICE agents in the airport?

Well, thank God, for 24 hours something happened to ICE agents.

There was an ICE agent refusing to identify himself arresting a woman in an airport, freaking people out.

They weren't even sure it was in San Francisco Airport.

Well, what kind of an interaction was it, actually?

I don't know, Scott, what information do you have?

No, I'm saying they— We'll need the Internet.

Now, there's been absolute mayhem at airports across America.

This is largely due to the Democrats' refusal to pass legislation that would ensure some measure of election integrity.

TSA agents are not being paid due to the partial government shutdown affecting the Department of Homeland Security,

and so ICE agents have had to be called in to restore order.

Let's see how that's been working in America's busiest airport, in Atlanta.

I think the average wait time now is under 40 minutes, so if you have a flight to catch today, it's a good time to come to Hartsfield-Jacks International.

Talking about those ICE agents, you can see a few behind me right there,

and then I'm going to walk you this direction and you can see some more of them gathered over here.

This is what they've been doing for the most part today, is doing the patrols around the airport.

What we're being told is there's a protest scheduled against ICE here at the airport in the next two hours or so, so now you have extra police officers from the Atlanta Police Department ready to respond to what may happen when protesters arrive.

Of course, as soon as order is restored, the leftists are coming in to cause havoc again.

They're going to be there protesting ICE.

Because those delays, there were so many people showing up four, five hours early for their flights and still missing them.

And in today's age of social media, it was crazy, like these snake lines going all the way out to the parking lot and everyone around the world sees it.

It is funny, the substituting ICE in there, because ICE has been fully funded, at least at its current capacity, in the big, beautiful bill, whereas these other departments are caught up in the shutdown fight.

And so that would really be funny if for any federal agency, you know, for sure on IRS agents, that's not in ICE, for sure on the TSA's not in ICE.

Given the immigration problem and the agenda, that would really be funny.

I'll just make a quick, other broader point, though, that the TSA, there is a whole sentiment out there that it should be abolished or downsized completely.

It's a relic of the Patriot Act after 9/11.

There isn't evidence that it really is doing much to keep things safer.

and it's just completely destroyed the experience of flying in America.

It's not the fault of the individual agents, not getting paid right now,

but that's a whole other conversation worth unpacking at some point.

President, what would be your message today to the TSA agents who have been staying home in recent days amid this impact?

Well, some of them are needing money, you know, because the Democrats cut off their money.

I blame the Democrats more than anything else.

But some of them, you know, they didn't get paid because they're not funded by the Democrats.

In fact, I actually said to the Senate, why would you say this is a Democrat problem?

I think the polls are showing it's a Democrat problem.

And they'll do anything, actually, to hurt our country so they can try and win the midterms.

And if we ever went back to our old policies, we wouldn't have a country left.

If they get a deal, Republicans and Democrats in the Senate, to fund all but enforcement operations of ICE, to get those TSA agents repaid and to open up the rest of the department, would you sign that?

Well, I don't want to comment until I see the deal,

but as you know, they're negotiating a deal.

but I think any deal they make, I'm pretty much not happy with it.

The Democrats broke the deal that we had.

And then they just said, well, we're not going to pay anymore.

And at a very difficult time, because, you know, we are at, as they would say, a war.

I call it a military operation, a very successful one, like successful like nobody's ever seen before.

Hey, Venezuela was equally as successful.

It was a done deal, and then they said, well, we're not going to pay.

And so a lot of people suffered over that and put our country in danger.
