And today we're counting down our picks for the hidden easter eggs in Netflix's One Piece Season 2.

For this list, we'll be skipping the more obvious references, like early appearances of characters such as sabotage number 10 masks in the opening episode of season two, as the straw Hats make their escape from Logdown, Zoro encounters Tashigi, who now realizes he's a pirate.

before they do, there's a store selling masks right behind Zoro with a whole bunch of Easter eggs contained within it.

Two of the masks are of the Sea Kings, Mottled and Underbites.

Also featured are two prominent characters from the WANO arc the the first is the former agent of the CP9 and one of the Tobi Ropo, who's who.

The second is a Hannya mask that looks very similar to what Kaido's son Yamato wears.

When it comes to One Piece lore, this mask salesman definitely knows.

Whether it was for budget reasons or time constraints, the Lapans were noticeably absent in the live action.

The large, vicious snow rabbits attacked Luffy and Sanji on Drum island while they were desperately trying to get Nami to a doctor.

While this never ends up happening in Netflix's version, the stuffed head of one does make an extremely brief appearance on the wall of a tavern as the Straw Hats discuss how to get to Kureha.

8 Otohime the Reverie flashback with Vivi in episode six was already a treat for longtime fans of One Piece, as it featured the appearances of world leaders such as King Tacos, Chairman Hamburger, and

In the middle of the Council, Wapol brings up that the Fish Men's Queen was assassinated and that their warlord was unable to prevent it.

The Queen was assassinated a while back, and not even the Fishman warlord could stop it.

This, of course, is referring to the death of Otohime, who was assassinated by Hody Jones.

The warlock he speaks of is Jinbei, who, as we all know, ends up becoming a member of the Straw Hat Pirates.

Seven World Noble Families if there's one thing One Piece fans absolutely despise, it's those tyrannical World Nobles.

Fortunately, we aren't properly introduced to them until much, much later, but

the live action gave us a stern reminder of their ever present power.

While the Straw Hats are shopping in Low Town, there's a building with the name Manmire on the top of it, referencing a World Noble family who have yet to make a proper appearance in the anime.

Another family referenced are the Figarlands, who appear to have a wine and spirit store named after them.

As we all know, this is the family that the Supreme Commander of the Knights of God Garling hails from.

6 Raoul in the anime the Loguetown arc contains an original scene that's not in the manga with a bartender known as Raoul.

The old man runs a bar named after the legendary pirate Gold Roger after serving him many years ago.

Raul tells Luffy of this chance encounter and is shocked to see a lot of Roger in Luffy.

While this scene does not happen in the live action, we actually see Raul serving Tashigi and Smoker in a bar after they fail to catch Luffy.

The anime original scene was a favorite among fans, so it was extremely cool to see Netflix actually include Raul here.

Number five Books While Nami is looking at a bookstore in Loguetown, Bartolomeo attempts and fails to pickpocket her while giving him a lecture.

Right behind the stall is an oversized book display referencing some very important publications.

The first one is Bragmen, a famous book within the world of One Piece that contains many legendary tales of the Grand Line.

Next to it is actually Kuma's signature bible that he carries around with him pretty much all the time.

Considering the size of Kuma in the original anime and manga, it's funny to think that this could actually be a book rather than a display.

Number 4 Pedro the masks weren't the only reference during the brief sword fight between Zoro and Tashigi.

When the two clash swords, you can see a wanted poster of a very familiar face.

It's the captain of the Guardians, Pedro from the Mogomo dukedom.

Pedro is a key ally for Luffy during the whole Cake island arc, which is around 800 episodes in the anime, so to see this little nod to him so early was the type of long term storytelling we'd expect from ODA.

Newspaper Headlines the first season of the One Piece Live Action was full of blink and you'll miss it references in newspapers and season two is no different.

If we covered everything, you could probably make a whole other list on it, but

for this entry we'll tell you about some of the more clearer ones.

The first is in episode two, when Crocus newspaper has the headline Arabasta Princess Still Missing, which for those of you who have finished this season, we don't need to explain.

The second, more detailed newspaper is the one Mr. Five read out to Vivi.

On the COVID it mentions Wapple's Bliking Pirates, as well as a small cameo of Oda's joke mascot Panda Man.

On the inside, there's a mention of Water 7 as well as Shushu's Pet Shop, a story element that was mostly skipped in the Live Action's version of the Orange Town Arc.

Two Dorry Statues in the opening scenes of the first episode of season two, during Nico Robin's attack on the marine base, we see two statues of Fleet Admirals Kong and Sengoku.

These aren't the only important statues we see this season, as Dorry has carved two other very significant figures.

The first one we see looks just like the silhouette of Loki we saw in the original before he made his full debut in the Elbaf arc.

The other one bears a striking resemblance to the legendary Sun God Nika.

Dorry also ends up name dropping Nika before his battle against Brogy.

May the Sun God Nika smile down with pleasure at what he witnesses and grant us a place in the Great hall of Heroes.

One Nika Pose the Nika references just keep coming.

In the second episode of Season two, Luffy ends up singing Binks's Sake in order to calm Laboon and save his crew within the whale.

Whilst singing, Luffy dances and strikes the same pose the Sun God Nika is known for, which which of course is a huge foreshadowing to the true nature behind his Gum Gum Fruit abilities and his Gear Fifth technique.

This moment is also a big reference to the Nika Dance, which Bartholomew Kuma would often perform with his adoptive daughter Bonn.
