There are a couple of ways that the government can literally take your money.

Imagine for a moment that you have $100,000 you saved, or maybe you are earning $100,000.

What are the options that the government has to take that money from you?

First of all, the government can tax you.

So the government can basically tell you this is the individual tax, or this is the payroll tax, or this is a sales tax.

Whether you want it or not, you have no other option but to pay that tax.

And that money goes directly into the hands of the government.

And that's how primarily the government raises money.

But that's not the only option that the government has at its disposal.

The second option is devaluation of the currency.

This is the kind of tax that the government does not tell you, but

And the government can literally take the exact same 10% out of your pocket without actually deducting your wages.

You will be receiving the exact same hundred dollars as your income, as your paycheck, but

So the real purchasing power of that $100,000 will be $90,000.

And in this economy we just have two houses as products and we have $2.

Now this is a hypothetical example just to illustrate how the economy actually works.

In this hypothetical example, one US Dollar is going to equal to one house.

The currency is created by the government or by the Federal Reserve to measure the value of existing goods in the economy.

In this hypothetical example, one house will to $1.

If the government would suppose to increase the supply of money by 100%, let's say the government is going to introduce another $2 in the economy.

Now in this new economy, $4 will be chasing the exact same two houses which means that the price of a single house will be now $2.

But the government just devalued the value of your $100,000 by 50%.

You're still receiving the exact same hundred, but it can buy a lot less things.

So the government can basically tax you without actually taking your money out of your account.

And this is by far the greatest tool the government has, because the government has a complete monopoly on the currency.

That was not possible historically, because historically gold was money.

And government could not possibly just print gold out of nowhere.

And you can't just duplicate duplicate gold that you can duplicate the US Dollars, but

If the government wants to increase the supply of dollars, all it has to do is literally just type extra digits in the computer.

And suddenly, if there was $1 trillion in the economy, now there are $2 trillion.

Suddenly the value of the dollar went down by 50% and the value of your paycheck dropped by 50%.

So every time the government faces a crisis or a war, it has two options.

Either it is going to raise taxes to fund that war or to fund that crisis.

In 2020, the US government distributed trillions of dollars to the American public.

Now, I want you to stop for a moment and ask yourself, where did the government take those trillions of dollars?

If you want to take people's taxes and help people, better not to collect these taxes at all.

And because the US Government has been actually running a persistent deficit for years, if not decades, you know for a fact that that money did not actually come from taxes.

And that means that you are literally going to devalue the currency through quantitative easing.

Imagine you tell the American public that there is a war that is going to happen and we have to fund that war and we have to raise the taxes out of your pockets to fund that war.

That is an extremely difficult case to make.

You could do that in 1940s because that was a major world war, because the United States was directly attacked and that was a direct threat to the national security of the United States.

So people realize that there is a good reason to raise taxes on the average American public to fund that war.

But if that war is so far away from the United States and that country did not attack the United States.

It will be very difficult to sell that war to the American public and raise taxes on you.

But the government does not have to do that because the government can simply use the second option to devalue the currency and wage that war.

And if you think that that didn't happen historically, then you're making a mistake.

Because this is not the first time that the United States is doing that.

And every single time the government is using this option, what is happening in the economy?

Trillions of dollars worth of wealth moves from the middle class from people like you to the hands of the top 1%.

I know that some people will say that this sounds like a conspiracy, but

that is how the economy works, whether you like it or not.

So back in 1955-1975, the United States has waged a war against Vietnam.

And that was one of the most catastrophic wars in the history of the United States.

How do you think the US Government financed that war?

You have to pay the defense contractors to build the weapons, get you the ammunition.

And then you also have to pay the soldiers to go and fight the war.

Now after they come back from the war, you have to pay them because now they're veterans.

You have to take care of the people that fought your.

But if you go back and take a look at the tax rates, the top marginal tax in the US back in 1950s and 60s was about 70 to 80%.

So can you possibly tell people that we gonna tax you 100%?

Well, of course, that is not an option at all.

So how do you think the U.S. government financed the war?

It simply started massively printing trillions of dollars to finance that war.

And at that point, the United States was under the gold Standard.

But by 1970s, the US government realizes that, wait a second, we have printed way more money than the amount of gold that we have.

So Nixon comes out and says that every single dollar is no longer going to be backed by gold.

Now I want you to go back to that moment and I want you to imagine that you had $100,000 in your bank account.

Your $100,000 instantly lost probably about 96% of its value because gold prices rose.

The people on one side who held assets such as gold and houses, the price of this gold instantly soared.
