We're gonna have a conversation with my favorite group of nerds so that they don't bug it out on you guys too far.

One of the most striking visuals in the film is when you burn the roof off of the jury.

Now, in that you're talking about, you guys were able to create an iconic vis.

This is something that now is a part of cinematic history.

Most of our effort went into the planning of it all the way it went.

Every morning in New Orleans, in our production office, we had a roundtable meeting.

And so Hannah slapped a blueprint in the middle of that table.

And then Autumn drew, like, concentric circle.

And then Ruth had, like, a list of, I think, 50 people that.

And then, you know, Ryan basically started like, okay.

And then I think they were gonna put the other guitar.

The Bootsy Collins guitar player is gonna be here and there.

And then we took that and then a couple of the storyboard frames that we had and gave it to our previous partner, Veraboom Paper Valencia, and

he turned it into, like, a mini, like, 3D animated version version of that.

He made, I think, 55 versions in total, just of that previous three, three and a half minutes every single time.

And that's basically how it became what it is today, you know, like, you can put the two next to each other and they're almost identical in terms of what's happening in the frame.

But it all started is another example of amazing collaboration because it started.

Started with a composition from Ludwig, which gave us the.

When you're at the hot party, you burn the roof off.

So then did you saw a visual element of burning the roof off the mother.

Big discussion how we were going to do that.

And my whole perspective was, well, I mean, we're going to light up the roof.

And I remember the first time I said that Ryan's like, you can't control the roof when it's on fire.

I was like, do you think you can set the roof on fire?

Well, what was funny is I was getting a text hey, have you ever burned a roof in a stage before?

And then I got the call from you right afterwards.

It got bigger and bigger every time you guys would call me.

So, like, after you said, we can do it, then I was like, oh.

Then Autumn calls me the same day, and she's like, rama, what the f is wrong with you?

Like, don't tell me that, like, we're really shooting a burning room.

You know, those cameras are, like a million dollars.

It was on the real set on the actual roof of.

With a small panel to figure out the burn speed and patterns and what materials to go into it, because we use, like, a combination of black powder and different metals that were ground up, like titanium, magnesium, and

So when you see it burning away and those red streaks that are coming off.

Because it took us about a month to figure out the materials.

Deep into post production, Ryan comes into our office.

He was like, hey, what would it take to go through the roof now instead of just tilt up?

Because he wanted to be with the ancestors, follow the embers, and.

And that means we did something we had to do a lot of on this movie, and

that's recreate something that's already filmed because we do something different with a camera, which is its own challenge.

That shot alone took five months to do it.
