When I was a kid, I had an incredible imagination.

I could pretend that I saw dragons and I would talk to imaginary friends.

That's how I entertained myself when I was little.

Well, I found out about Dragon Ball Z when I was like 6 or 7 years old.

So I would pretend that I was turning into a Super Saiyan.

And the way that I would do that is I would visualize that golden aura that goes around the Super Saiyans like this, you know, those jagged edges.

And when I was doing it, I was so passionate about it.

Now spit wasn't just flying out of my mouth.

I'd be so concentrated that I'd go kind of cross eyed.

If you saw a three year old or a four year old doing it, you'd be like, oh, that's cute.

And can you imagine if you saw an 11 year old kid doing that?

She went to my mom and said, you better get him checked out.

Well, my family kind of got used to me doing that and they just called it spinning fingers.

I'd do it at recess, during school, all by myself.

And then there were some times where I would do it, you know, with my mom when she was shopping, or I do it at the breakfast table.

In fact, there was one time my sister said she was watching me spin my fingers and I was in the middle of doing that and I didn't notice that there was a bee coming.

And a bee flew in between my fingers and it almost stung me in the face.

But I feel bad for the bee because that bee was probably thinking, what the heck is going on in here?

He flew in and got sucked up into this tornado.

Well, when I was in elementary school, I did not have good grades.

And I came home with a report card and my mom and dad saw it and they're like, oh man.

Okay, we're gonna take away your Nintendo 64.

We're gonna take away your Game Boy and you're grounded.

I wanted to say something that would hurt their feelings.

And I went and I walked up the stairs, and

at the time, I thought that was a really good burn that must have really got him.

Well, when I got into sixth grade, I was still spinning my fingers, so I was out on the, you know, playground doing my thing, and

all of a sudden, I heard people laughing.

And I turned around, and it wasn't just anybody.

Oh, I. I can't do this in public anymore.

And so from then on, I didn't do it at the school or outside, but

I tried a couple times to do it in my room, but

it just wasn't the same, So I just stopped doing it altogether.

Well, a couple of years went by, and I was in junior high, you know, and

by that point, I figured out how to, you know, socially interact with other people and not be weird.

I saw some people that were kind of pretending that they were knights in, like, an anime, and

they were, like, playing with, like, foam swords, like, yo, yeah.

And at that moment, I realized, wow, I'm really glad that I stopped doing that.
