We begin with an arrest in the UK that reaches all the way to the Royal family.

Police in the UK have just arrested Andrew Mountbatten Windsor, the younger brother of King Charles III and, of course, former prince.

British media are reporting that Andrew, who was not named by police, was reportedly arrested on charges of misconduct in public office.

Police announced recently that they were looking into allegations that he had passed confidential government documents to the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein back in 2010.

They say he may have done that during his time as a British trade envoy.

King Charles said earlier this month that he is ready to support police in their inquiries.

Police are reportedly searching two addresses in London following this arrest.

What more can you tell us about this arrest?

And it is the former Prince Andrew's 66th birthday as well, we should say.

So Andrew Mountbatten Windsor has been arrested on the suspicion of misconduct in public office.

What's being reported is that police arrived at his house at Wood Farm on the Sandringham estate.

You might remember that he was moved quite swiftly from his original, from the place where he's lived for the last decades.

He's been moved to a cottage on the King's estate.

Police said earlier this month that they were looking at allegations that Mountbatten Windsor had passed confidential government documents to the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

So we knew that was happening in the last hours.

It's being reported that six unmarked police cars, about eight plain clothed police officers were seen arriving at Wood Farm, where Andrew Mountbatten Windsor has just moved to.

Now, some of our viewers may not know that the former Prince Andrew served as essentially a trade envoy.

So he was the UK's special representative for international trade and investment for 10 years.

Now, that basically means he worked as a roving trade ambassador.

He would have had access to the incubator and he had access to a lot of sensitive information.

And emails from the recently released batch of Epstein files appear to show that he did, in fact, pass reports of visits that he'd made abroad to Epstein.

Now, it is important to say Andrew has consistently denied any wrongdoing.

Now, I'm sure that this is shaking up everyone in the royal family.

King Charles released a statement earlier this month saying that he stands ready to support British police.

Now, that was very clear in the King distancing himself from his brother.

Now, as more and more information was released, the fallout of the Epstein files just continued.

A palace spokesman said that the King has made clear, in words and through unprecedented actions, his profound concern at allegations which continue to come to light in respect of his brother.

And another statement saying that the King and Queen's thoughts and sympathies have been and remain with the victims of any and all form of abuse.

I mean, we can imagine that this is particularly stinging for the King because this is his brother.

I mean, he probably has more on the line with this even than his father.

Prince William, his wife, Kate, they are the next generation.

And the future of the monarchy essentially is on their shoulders.

There's been a lot of criticism of the royal family about how it communicates, that it doesn't communicate fast enough.

Now, the Prince and Princess of Wales, Prince William, released a statement again just recently saying that they're deeply concerned by these revelations and that we are focused on the victim.

So I think what they were trying to do there was be proactive and say, this is our position.

And, you know, it's known that Prince William is critical of his uncle.

Well, we will be following this story to see if we hear anything else coming from Buckingham palace today.
