It did a whole lot of good for both the computer company and the actor Ben Curtis.

From 2000 to 2003, Curtis portrayed the character Steven in 26 Dell commercials.

Basically, after informing someone of the benefits of owning a Dell computer, Steven would say the catchphrase, dude, you're getting a Dell.

The ad campaign was a huge success and perhaps it would have lasted even longer if not for the actor's marijuana related arrest in 2003.

While it's been a minute, some people may never detach this catchphrase from the company.

Carrying into the 2000s, Delia's presence was so much bigger than just its mall stores.

It got to a point where Delia's, which produced 10 to 12 catalog issues a year, would send out over 50 million copies across the United States annually.

The catalogs also offered giveaways, surprise gifts, and

encouraged customers to communicate with the brand in unique ways for the time.

The company ran the Anime Network cable channel and was instrumental in licensing and distributing English dubbed versions of countless manga and anime titles.

But with declining sales in the mid 2000s, ADV ceased operations and liquidated its assets in 2009.

Since then, anime has only grown more popular globally and the torch has been passed in a way, as many of the titles previously licensed and distributed by ADV have been re released by other companies.

Two years later, PlayStation Home arrived, offering a totally new dynamic for the iconic gaming system.
