You know, ones that convey a lot of meaning.

I need you to look into Jerome's daughter.

But if you think that means that I can't kick your ass up and down this floor, take a swing and see what happens.

Yeah, that last one is a bit rude, but still, it sounds confident, right?

Anyway, let's take a look at that first clip again.

In this case, this is more like a funny proverb, but

still a rich idiomatic expression you could use.

Basically, it means that someone inexperienced can't fix the problems they create.

What do you think he meant by my plate is full?

He's saying he's busy working with the company stable shelters.

In other words, his plate is full with stable shelters.

It paints a better picture than simply saying, I'm busy.

And that makes Harvey a great communicator.

It's the best way to start thinking in English.

This means giving yourself tiny challenges where you must respond immediately, even if you're not 100% sure what to say.

For example, if you're watching suits, try pausing an episode and predicting how Harvey might respond before he actually does.

This trains your brain to form ideas more spontaneously and faster.

And it helps a lot to put yourself in situations where you have to react in real time.
