Grand Teton and Yellowstone are two of the most iconic national parks in the United States and they're located right next to each other, making them perfect for a multi day adventure.

We spent three and a half days exploring these incredible parks starting in Jackson, Wyoming.

From the dramatic Teton Mountain range to the geothermal wonders of Yellowstone.

We covered all the major highlights and discovered some unexpected gems along the way.

We chased sunrise at Mormon Row, witnessed Old Faithful erupt, explored the vibrant Grand Prismatic Spring and had some incredible close encounters with bison and elk.

The crowds can be intense and the parking situations challenging, but the payoff is absolutely worth it.

Here's everything we experienced exploring Grand Teton in Yellowstone at the end of August.

I mean we Woke up at 6:30, we were going to wake up at 4:45.

The reason why I want to wake up early today was because they always say go to Mormon Row early at sunrise because that's the best time to take pictures.

But we could probably still do it tomorrow on our way to Yellowstone.

So you know it might still be nice pictures anyway because it's cloudy right now like usually if the clouds weren't here like the sun would be really harsh.

We actually walked a bit the other way yesterday and went to a restaurant called Stillwater.

They weren't that great so I don't recommend it.

Got a margarita and he kind of got like a specialty cocktail that sucked too.

We were so disappointed with our cocktails we decided to go somewhere else for drinks.

And the Rose, like a cocktail lounge, a bar and that was really great.

So highly recommend the Rose scenery is really nice.

It's like a 17 minute drive from the downtown Jackson area to Mor Monroe.

All right, so we spent like over an hour I think at the Mormon Row area because everything is just so picturesque there.

I wanted to take a picture and video of every angle like of everything.

There's tours there too that go by and explain some things.

The one of the tour guides was saying that a bunch of photographers come there right at sunrise because there's some kind of effect that happens that over like the light comes over the mountains at a certain time and it gives like this nice glow on the mountains.

So all these like 50 photographers come out and like fight for like the best location and he was saying it's pretty crazy.

So hopefully tomorrow we can Wake up early enough to come and see that.

Yeah, we'll probably, like, go back to the other location, the other side of Mormon Road tomorrow morning just because we're already, like, behind schedule of what we're gonna do today.

So I think tomorrow we'll have a little bit more time to do that.

All right, so now we're on our way to Schwabacher Landing, and

it's like five miles away, so it's like a nine minute drive.

I like this little road that we take down to Schwabacher Landing.

I like these little flowers that they have too.

Love that we're on this gravel road for a couple minutes.

I forgot to mention too, like, the weather here is a lot warmer than I thought.

Like yesterday it was in the 90s, like low 90s, but it was warm.

And even the bartender last night was saying that it was unusually warm here today.

This morning it was in the 40s, so that was really nice.

And then now it's what, nine, 30 to stay on Schwabacher's land?

And I'm like, oh, it's getting warm already.

So this is supposed to be like a half mile easy hike.

We just barely made it out of the parking lot.

And we're taking pictures of everything still.

I mean, these mountains in the background are just amazing.

But yeah, everything is just so beautiful here.

This lovely man back here too, he's gonna run out of battery too.

He said he worked in the national park for a couple of years and this is one of his favorite parks.

I mean, like he said, it's very manageable, like all the hikes.

Like, this is supposed to be like an easy half a mile hike, which I like.

I like the reflection in the water there.

So you can walk this path with a baby stroller.

But no, this lake is like super clear though.

The most picturesque area is like right up front.

And you keep on walking, you can go down this little trail.

But the ending is kind of like, huh, okay.

But I mean, you know, it was nice to just take a little stroll.

Next Snake River Overlook, where we're gonna go.

Then after that is Oxbow Bend and then Leigh Lake.
