So usually like my main concern in closed guard of course is to keep it closed.

But the main reason that people open the guard is when they stand up.

Because I find much easier to block the person's attempt to open a guy when they kneeling down.

There's one, one open guard that is more threatening is the Sao Paulo guard that you know, they go exactly to open so they don't sacrifice themselves.

But you know, mainly if you stand up is a big threat like any other situation that you try to push my leg down or go in very easy to defend, right?
