The imperative

Single does not mean lonely and relationship does not mean happy.

When you tell some people you're single, they look at you like it's a bad thing.

They need to understand that single is way more than a status.

Sometimes I'm single means I refuse to settle for less.

Sometimes I'm single means I'm working on me.

Sometimes single stands for stress is now gone, Life's easier.

Don't let friends, family or anybody rush you into a relationship.

And especially don't let loneliness rush you into a relationship.

I see you follow those couples on Instagram.

You ever wonder why they always show you the highlight reels but never show you the behind the scenes?

See, they appear to be happy all the time, but things ain't always what they seem.

Those so called power couples, see low key, they have power struggles.

See, they post about relationship goals, but in real life, it's relationship knows.

Now I'm not saying relationships are bad.

I'm saying don't let anybody pressure you.

Because see, the worst thing in life is not being alone.

It's ending up with someone that makes you feel alone.

See, we live in a world where every romantic movie, every song on the radio says that you need somebody to complete you.

Don't wait for anybody to make you happy because that's a guaranteed way to end up sad.

See, if you're unhappy, a relationship won't improve it, it will exp it.

Being single is the best time to become the person you want to attract.

And once you become that, you become a magnet for them so you won't have to chase that person down.

They will come to you at just the right time.

And it won't be somebody just to go with you, it'll be somebody there that'll grow with you.

Somebody who you could be yourself around and have fun doing absolutely nothing with.

Because see, a wise man once said, it's not a lack of love but a lack of friendship that makes unhappy relationships.

So stay single, Stay single until you find someone that adds real value to your life, that supports you that nourishes you.
