• seek: To ask someone for help
• haven: Place where people can feel safe and happy
• great: Very good; better than before
• feed: To give food, e.g. to animals or a baby
• hide: To go to, or put a thing where it can't be found
• peek: To look at something quickly (often secretly)
• put: To move or place a thing in a particular position
• run: To depart or travel according to a schedule
• whoa: Tell someone to do something more slowly
• ready: Being likely or about to do something
• hungry: Feeling a need or want to eat food
• shark: Person who lends money at unfair rates of interest
• play: To act as a character in a movie, or on stage
• baby: A very young child, who cannot yet speak
• doo: Bird commonly referred to as a pigeon
• grandma: Mother of your father or mother
• peekaboo: Game played with young children; you hide your face and suddenly reveal it as you say boo!
• grandpa: Your mother or father's father
• daddy: Another word for father
• mommy: Word for mother used mostly by young children
• yay: A way of saying yes
