When Wall E shows Eve a plant he recently found, it leads him on an adventure to a spaceship, the Axiom we just saw.

Which is home to the remaining human race.

Seven hundred years after leaving Earth, it still shocks me in this movie to see what has become the human race who no longer walk and are stuck to screens all day.

Sounds a little bit like some people I know.

So I'm excited for us to learn together today and even reflect a little bit about our place here on Earth.

Like if you have a collection of trading cards, the jewel of that collection might be a card that only had 100 editions made in the whole world.

So the Axiom is the best, most impressive ship in their entire fleet or group of spaceships.

Now here's a phrasal verb that's super useful.

To wait on someone means to serve them or take care of their needs.

They wait on customers by bringing food and drinks.

On the Axiom, robots wait on the humans, constantly doing everything for them.

When the advertisement says they'll chart a course for non stop entertainment, what do you think chart a course means?

To chart a course originally comes from navigation.

It means to plan your route or direction.

But we also use it metaphorically, like charting course for success.

Or in this case, planning for constant fun and entertainment.

And with our all access hover chairs, even grandma can join the fun.

Because at bnl, space is the final frontier.

And did you catch that clever pun at the end?

This Plays on the famous phrase space is the final frontier, meaning space is the last unexplored boundary for humanity.

But they change frontier to fun tier to make it about entertainment.

Moving on to that main scene, we hear some exciting news broke.

A probe is a spacecraft or device sent to explore and gather information, especially in space or other hard to reach places.

Like did you hear back in the day about the probes they sent to Mars?

By the way, we have a common word here that most learners mispronounce.

So we can't trust our eyes with this word as a bunch of letters have unusual pronunciation.
