A few years ago, I learned a very important lesson.

We were driving in the right lane, when all of a sudden, this gray SUV jumps out of its parking space right in front of us.

The driver of the other car, the jerk who almost caused a big accident, had the nerve to get out of his car and start yelling at.

My Uber driver just smiled and waved at the guy.

That guy almost ruined your car, and he could have sent us to the hospital.

And that is when my Uber driver told me about what I now call the law of garbage trucks.

See, he said, most people are like garbage trucks.

They run around full of garbage, full of frustration, full of anger, full of disappointment.

As their garbage piles up, they need a place to dump it.

Now that really got me thinking about how often I let garbage trucks run over me and how I then take their garbage and spread it on to other people at home, at work, on the streets.

It was that day that I resolved, I'm not gonna do this anymore.

Since then, I started to see garbage trucks everywhere.

Strange could see all those possibilities in the future.

And just like my Uber driver, I don't make it into a personal thing.

I just smile, wave, wish them well, and I move on.
