2020 was an incredibly challenging year for all of us.

But in the midst of that, we had the incredible opportunity to really get to learn and research what it is that causes people to find greater levels of resilient optimism when times become incredibly challenging and ways that we can find a way of linking out to the ecosystem around us so that we can be better together by finding ways of enhancing, defending the system and sustaining the gains as a group.

Part of what I wanted to do is to get to share some of this research, which is why I'm so excited to get to join you on February 9th at 12:30 Eastern Time for interactive discussion during the Training Conference 2021.

During that interactive conference, we're going to have the opportunity to describe and go deep into the research about how we can create military grade optimism from the work that I was doing out with the Marines, or learning about how do we create greater levels of community and social connection, even when it's hard, by talking and researching out at NASA to find out what they're doing to raise levels of happiness with astronauts that are physically distanced several miles from the Earth.

We're going to get the opportunity to talk about the incredible research that we did out at hospital systems, including Ingenesis Health Systems, where we found in the midst of incredibly challenging times, by applying positive psychology research, we were able to drop the burnout by 50%.

What we're finding in the midst of all of this research is that there are ways that we can actually improve our response to the world, find a way of becoming more adaptive, and
