I'm so sorry it's been so long since I last uploaded a video on this channel.

I know that ever since I moved back to Japan, I have barely been uploading.

I'll talk a little bit more about this towards the end of the video.

But basically, yeah, I just kind of lost the motivation to make content because I've been doing it for so long, like 15 years now.

I felt burnt out and it just wasn't as enjoyable to film my life anymore.

So I really wanted to live, you know, life away from the camera, away from filming my life.

I wanted to get out of that mindset because let me tell you guys how it is.

Like, for the last 15 years, every single time I went on a holiday, when I went out with friends, when I was doing a fun activity, I didn't think about having fun and enjoying the moment.

All I was thinking about was, how am I going to film this?

And I guess after 15 years of doing that, it just kind of ruins the fun when you go on holiday, for example.

Because all I'm thinking about is what am I going to film?

Not enjoying the moment with friends and family.

I barely vlogged last year, which was nice for a while because I was able to just enjoy life in general without a camera shoved in my face.

But then towards the end of last year, I felt like I missed vlogging.

I felt like I missed sharing things with you guys.

And I realized this when I was doing my makeup because I was using this eyeliner and I was like, I really want to share with you guys this eyeliner because it's awesome.

But I haven't made a makeup video in over five years, which is insane to think about because that's how I started my channel, right?

I want to just upload content to share things with you guys, share my life with you guys.

Why not start from my roots, which is Fukubukuros?

Because I've been doing this for the last 10 years.

I don't think there is a year where I did not upload a Fukubukuro video.

Even when I wasn't able to travel to Japan, I made sure to get my hands on them.

So that's what we are going to be doing this year.

Now I wasn't sure if I wanted to buy a Fukubukuro this year, just because over the years, I felt like the quality has gone down and it's just not as fun as it used to be.

Because back in the the days, the main point of a Fukubukuro was for stores, especially clothing ones.

I'm talking about they will put their old stock that they couldn't sell into the bag so they can get rid of their old stock to make room for the new stock for the New Year's.

Now, this was super fun because you didn't know what you would get in the bag.

And because I'm the type of person that's very safe with my fashion, I tend to stick to one style, and

if I feel like the style fits me, I'm just going to stick with that.

So Fuku Bookroll was a way for me to explore different fashion styles, which I really enjoyed.

But over the years, I feel like it started changing where clothing stores would start to make new stock specifically for the Fukubukuro, which defeats the purpose, because the purpose was to sell old stock, right?

They'll make new stock for the bag specifically, and

the stuff wasn't as good quality as their clothes normally.

And then I realized over the last couple of years, most of the clothing stores tell you what is inside the lucky bag bag, and

it just wasn't as fun anymore because you weren't getting random stuff from previous seasons.

So you can actually look up what was inside the bag on Twitter and you'll know exactly what's inside it.

So that's why I wasn't sure if I wanted to buy the bag or not this year.

But because I really wanted to restart my channel and I kind of didn't know how to.

I thought it'd be good to start off with something that I've always done.

So I went shopping yesterday, and I picked up a lucky bag from Oneway.

Now, they did say what was inside the bag, but I tried my best to ignore the sign.

I do know that you get just one outfit inside this book, a book roll.

There are two different varieties, so I don't know which one I got.

So because I know this is one full outfit, I thought it'd be fun if I just dress myself in whatever is in this bag today.

So let's open it, and let's see what we got.

I thought for some reason there was going to be either a pink or a black outfit, but

So because I know this is one full outfit, I'm gonna put everything on to show you guys what it looks like.

Now, I only thought we'll have just one outfit, but

it looks like we have options because we got two sweaters.

I thought this was just normal sweater, but no, it's a dress with a little cardigan.

This is something I feel like I would actually wear.

I think if I wore, like a white collared shirt inside, this would look so cute on top.

But I'm gonna just put this on to show you guys what it looks like.

This is the first item, and I love this so much.

I didn't think I would love it as much as I do, but.

I did not have much faith in this bookabukuro because, you know, over the last couple of years, I felt like I just had to expect the worst when it comes to opening these because over the years it got worse and worse.

I love it, and I feel like it's really flattering.

So we have a sweater dress, and it also came with this cardigan.

We have a sweater and a skirt, so let's try these on.

I'm a little nervous because this skirt looks very small, but it is very stretchy.
