Brooklyn inspires me to do my work every day because it is such a dynamic place.

I'm the founder and CEO of Fit for Dance and Brooklyn Powers my small business.

Fit for Dance is an amazing dance fitness studio located in Brooklyn in Flatbush.

I am so excited and grateful to be one of the winners of the Lenovo Evolve small mentorship contest.

It has provided the technology that will help me be more efficient and effective in my day to day work.

And it's going to be amazing to upgrade our technology at the front desk, our check in systems.

It is going to make a world of difference in the studio.

Brooklyn is an extremely diverse city and when you come to Fit for Dance, you, you see that same diversity in gender, race, age.

When you come to Fit for Dance and especially when you come to lit fit, get ready to sweat and have the best time of your life.

Movement and dance is such a powerful tool for a healthy body and mind because for me, it doesn't feel like I'm working out when I'm dancing.

I'm moving, I'm sweating, I'm smiling, I'm having fun and it allows me to feel free in my body.

Fit for Dance draws so many different types of people to the studio.

And one of the things that people say they love the most about it is that they can be themselves, that they can be the their true, authentic self.

They don't feel judged, they feel like they belong.

And it really creates for a powerful community experience.

My name is Jennifer and I've been taking classes at Fit for Dance for three years.

Most people come because of how welcoming it is.

Everyone is welcoming and Lacey's energy tells you to come in and enjoy and go at your own pace.

And Lacey is a very, very special person for me.

My name is Susan and I've been taking classes at Fit for Dance for nine years.

Fit for Dance makes me feel included in the community, in the actual studio and it has an outreaching effect to make me want to make other people feel included in Brooklyn.
