From Pakistan's ties with World Liberty Financial to BitGo's IPO, this is crypto Weekly Pakistan said it signed an agreement with a firm connected to World Liberty Financial, the main crypto business of US President Donald Trump's family.

It's to explore using World Liberty's USD1 stablecoin for cross border payments.

The agreement is said to be with SC Financial Technologies, a little known company Pakistan described as an affiliated entity of World Liberty, according to a video released by Pakistan's Prime Minister's office.

Nearly a third of crypto companies without an EU license in France are still to tell the regulator whether they intend to get the licence required under new EU rules or if they will cease operating by July.

The country's markets regulator issued the warning this week.

Under the EU's rules, crypto companies must receive licenses from national regulators in order to be able to operate across the bloc.

Those rules came into force last year to bring crypto assets under formal regulation.

Crypto custody startup Bitgo says it's targeting a valuation of up to $1.96 billion in US initial public offering.

It wants to tap into investor appetite for crypto firms.

The IPO market is expected to continue on its recovery path this year, building on the Momentum started in 2025.
