Alright, so this is probably the video you guys weren't expecting this week.

Past simple

And it's probably something that I really didn't want to make, but it is what it is.

And as you guys know, Maiko and I produce the channel together and we do a lot of the work together.

And we also have to raise Wolfie, our son.

You know, our schedules are, you know, super tight for most of the time.

We're going week to week to release the videos.

And just yesterday, Maiko was admitted to the hospital.

So without going too much into detail, Maiko had a pretty severe gynecological issue.

the issue is that she's gonna be gone for the next, you know, three to four days.

So kind of leaves me to be the single dad for a little bit.

We just gotta kind of deal with what's going on.

And yesterday I was actually filming in Yamanashi and Maiko had to be rushed to the hospital.

She actually went by herself because she was the only one here.

And then we had to pick up Wolfie at the nursery at 4:30 and I was still in Yamanashi.

Luckily the nursery like had this extended period where they could keep him until 7:30.

So I just rushed back from the filming, picked him up.

But before, just before 7:30 and after he got home, I fed him.

we had to go leave and I had to take him to the hospital so that we can get Michael some of his stuff like her essentials, like, you know, her glasses or she couldn't see right now.

It didn't seem so serious that her like life is in danger at the moment.

But it was dangerous enough where she had to have surgery like right away, like after being admitted to the hospital.

I just wanted to let you guys know that this is the reason why we don't have our regular video as scheduled.

And you know, it's just gonna be Wolfie and I for the next few days.

Maybe, you know, I'll share kind of the single dad life, what him and I are doing.

Probably a little bit stranger than probably what people consider like, compared to like the, the west is that in Japan they want people to stay in the hospital to recover for, like, three to four days after their surgery just to make sure that everything is okay.

Whereas, like, in the States, I'll just give you some medicine, give you some painkillers and sen, and

Kind of like that they're watching over Michael, making sure that she's completely okay.

Again, the most important thing is that Michael is okay, and we're just gonna deal with the situation.

And, you know, we appreciate all of your support, Just letting us share pieces of our lives with you.

Even that's probably not the video you guys expected.

So today, as you can see, I'm in the hospital.

A lot of things happened yesterday, and I'm finally settled.

So I'm here talking to you guys right now.

Long story short, I was admitted to the hospital right away and went to the surgery room and then got a surgery in that afternoon for like, an hour or two.

Somehow I fought through, and here I am, but I'm not surprised.

And the worst part was Paolo wasn't here.

It was actually a big project which we were so excited about, but

I couldn't go because my health condition wasn't good to begin with.

And this actually happened when he was there in Yamanashi.

I was so worried about Wolfie because I'm supposed to be taking care of Wolfie when he was away.

And also, he was supposed to go to a business trip in Osaka, and

I'm like, oh, my God, what am I gonna do?

I had to take care of all of that before the surgery, and

I wasn't feeling well because all the blood went out.

Hopefully I can be checked out in a couple days.

But I'm sad because I can't see anybody because of the corona situation.

I can't see Paolo or Wolfie or anybody doing the surgery.

Like, all I can think of is, it wasn't Zinshin Masuda it was like.

All the pain and what happened during then.

But all I can think of is how it's gonna be without seeing Wolfie for a couple of days.

If he's gonna be okay, I hope he understands.
