The US Government did what investors were afraid the most last year.

It stepped in and started massively buying stocks in the stock market.

At first glance, this does not seem like a big deal, but

if you give it a closer look, it's a nightmare for investors.

Yes, it has the potential to boost stock market in the short run, but

in the long run, it will inevitably lead to a massive stock market crash.

So in this video, let's try to answer a few questions.

Which stocks exactly, the US Government is buying?

Why is the US Government massively buying stocks in the stock market?

Which stocks it will be buying in 2026 and should you also be buying these stocks?

These are the four industries that the government is buying stocks in.

The US Government purchased stock in MP materials.

Even though that there has been volatility since the government stepped in and bought the stocks, the stock price is still up by over 100%.

So whoever purchased the stock right there certainly made a profit.

The US Government is not happy with the fact that it's relying on the Chinese government for rare earth minerals.

Recently, when they were negotiating a trade deal, China is like, if you don't give us what we want, we will cut you off from our rare earth supplies.

And without them, you can't build your phones, you can't build your cars, and

most importantly, you can't build weapons with them.

And that's why the US Government, while still trying to get those rare earth minerals from China, it is trying to build that industry in the United States.

Now this industry is a very bad industry because profit margins are extremely tiny.

So private businesses usually don't get into this business because there isn't much money to be made.

But if you use economies of scale, if there is a lot of money coming from the government, you can scale your operations.

And even though that profit margins are very tiny, because you're doing that on a massive scale, there is a probability to turn in a profit.

The second industry is the semiconductors.

Semiconductors are a critical industry for any government, especially the United States.

And most of them are manufactured outside the US and the US Government took a stake in Intel.

So this might be a chance for them to revive and dominate the semiconductor industry.

And this is a very Interesting deal, because the government didn't pay anything.

In fact, back when Biden was president, intel was awarded with about 10 or 11 billion dollars to bring manufacturing back to the United States.

And when Trump became the president, he's like, why did we give intel about $11 billion?

Well, give it back, or you can offer us a stake in your business.

And that's how the government ended up as an investor in this business.

Now, the third industry is, of course, AI.

The government is not taking a direct stake into AI businesses, but

they struck a deal with Nvidia, where Nvidia will be paying the US government 15% of its revenue of all the advanced chips that are sold to China.

So instead of not selling these chips to China, let us hook the Chinese companies on these chips.

They will be dependent on the United States.

Otherwise, they will simply develop their own version of Nvidia chips.

So Trump struck a deal with Nvidia that Nvidia will be selling these advanced chips to China.

And the US government will be taking 15% stake in this out of this revenue.

The second investment was target at about $500 billion.

The US Government has already taken a stake in a few nuclear companies.

The nuclear energy is obviously the future of energy.

But right now, we need a lot of oil and gas.

And the United States captured the president of Venezuela just to ensure that it has access to the largest proven oil reserves on Earth.

They have far more oil than the United States.

Trump has hinted that oil companies can have access to Venezuelan oil in exchange or giving a stake of their businesses to the US Government.

And according to Donald Trump, they can be extracting as much as 50 million barrels of oil a day from Venezuela.

This is not realistic because currently the United States has about a production capacity of 23 million barrels.

So 50 million barrels is very unrealistic.

Let's assume for a moment that it is going to be 30 million barrels.

That's about $1.7 billion a day, or if you multiply that by the entire year, that's $625 billion of revenue from the oil that will be generated from Venezuela.

Of course, this number will be shared with the Venezuelan government.

Let's assume that it's going to be 50, 50.

So the US oil companies are about to grow their revenue by over $300 billion by extracting the oil from Venezuela.

And the US government will have a stake in.

So there is A probability that US Oil companies will see their stock prices surge dramatically.

But be very careful before you buy the stocks.

First of all, whenever there is a lot of hype around the stocks, the stock prices are going to surge.

So either you have to buy them before these announcements, you are already late for that, or you have to slightly wait because there is another probability.

So much oil getting into the market will drive oil prices down.

So this probable revenue that might happen is most likely, likely going to be a lot less than that.

Of course, there is also going to be a lot of investment to extract so much oil.

And thirdly, building the infrastructure to extract so much oil is also going to be extremely difficult.

Remember, Venezuela has been under the US sanctions for the last 10 or 15 years, which means that the entire infrastructure is demolished and they can't be extracting that much oil.

The main goal that Donald Trump wants to achieve with that is first of all, national security without having or controlling these sectors and ensuring that the United States is self sufficient when it comes to critical minerals, semiconductor production inside the United States, AI that will dominate the future, and

The United States is going to be at the mercy of China and other nations.

Secondly, Donald Trump has hinted that he wants a wealth fund.

There are some countries that have wealth funds.

Wealth fund is basically a financial institution that holds stakes in other business businesses.

And then the revenues that this financial institution is going to generate from these investments will go into the government's budget.

Norway has the largest wealth fund in the world with over $2 trillion.

And it generates about $140 billion in revenue every single year.

And as that wealth fund is going to continue growing and expanding, the revenues are going to grow.

So if the Norwegian government today will stop receiving tax income from its citizens, Norway still have access to at least $140 billion annually.

Donald Trump is like, why don't we have the exact same wealth fund that will actually fill the US Government and will help pay off the US Debts?

This is not how the US Government used to operate in the past.

The US Government has always intervened in the market, but in a slightly different way.

So this is the US Government and there is a project that they want to the private sector to invest in and develop.

Let's say it's a space project and the United States government does not have the capacity.

And it wants the private sector to do that because it wants that technology to grow tremendously.

It could be semiconductors, it could be space exploration, it could be rockets or anything.

Let's say that it has to do something with rockets.

You have SpaceX that is going to bid for this project if Boeing and you have another contractor from the United States that is going to bid for it.
