Past simple

A few months ago I made a video where I tried on different yesstyle outfits.

A lot of you guys found this video helpful because what you see online may not be what you get in person.

So I tried on all the different outfits so you guys actually get to see what the item looks like in that video.

Most of the items I ordered last year, so this one is more of an updated video.

And since it's summertime for most of you guys, hopefully this video will be helpful.

Now, the items I'm going to be showing you guys today, I got them in the past one or two months, so pretty recent.

I have worn some of these clothing items before because I just came back from Korea and Japan and I took them with me.

But the majority of them I have not worn yet.

So I'm excited to try them out for the first time and show you guys my first impression just before I start this video.

It was $21 and I got this in a size small.

Comparing this to the photo, it looks exactly the same, which is great.

I feel like the size fits me really well.

So actually I'm going to tell you guys my sizes now so you guys can compare with the other items I'm going to show you guys.

So I usually wear a size extra small in tops and bottoms and dresses.

Usually That's a size 6 Australian, so I am quite small.

I am only 155cm tall as well, so I guess you can convert that.

anyway it's just a very comfortable and flowy dress so it's perfect for the summer time.

It comes with a ribbon bow belt thing as well and you've got some holds for it which is great.

One of my pet peeves is when a dress does not have these holds for your belt or your ribbons.

If for some reason your belt just becomes undone after accidentally, then you've lost it.

It's made out of chiffon so it's perfect for summer.

I feel like it is still a bit loose on me.

So it can fit perhaps up to a size medium.

I then have this long floral dress and this one was $41.

Comparing this item to the photo, I feel like it's slightly different because in the photo it looks like the material used on the dress is very soft and it's like a chiffon.

It's a lot harder and quite frankly it's a little bit itchy.

So I don't really know what's going on there.

But also when I put on this dress I noticed, hmm, there's a hole.

So as you can see, it almost touches my ankles now.

But usually because I am short, I do prefer it if my dresses weren't this long.

So I did have to tie the bow part a little bit tighter.

But let me just take it off to show you guys.

This is without the bow so it's not so bad.

Now I mentioned this before but one of my pet peeves is when my clothing don't have holes to hold the ribbons or the belts of my items just because I'm just paranoid of losing my belt or ribbons.

Because once I do, then that's it, right?

You have to wear a belt with this to make it look good.

I don't know if I am feeling this dress because it just doesn't look good on me.

So for $41, I kind of expected a really good quality dress.

Next few items are from my favorite brand on yesstyle called Double Wawa.

I got this off the shoulder top for $70 in a size small in white.

I just want to Say that yes, this brand is a lot more expensive than other brands on YesStyle, but

that's just because this brand is really good quality.

I put this in the wash perhaps twice already and it still looks brand new.

So this item, comparing to the photo, it looks exactly the same.

Sizing wise, it fits very nicely for a size small.

What I love the most about this off the shoulder top is, okay, if you look here, it's got this flappy, loose part over here which I really like on tops.

Now, for most of the off the shoulder tops I have, when they have this flappy part here, most of the time underneath it's just a tube, which is fine, but

Now, I'm a bit conscious about my stomach.

I don't like showing it, so I would much rather if it can be covered and this item does just that.

So actually I'm just gonna pull this out to show you.

The under part of this top is actually like this.

So obviously you have to tuck it into whatever you're wearing to make it look good.

But I just like it because it just covers up, you know, my stomach and it looks really flattering.

Even though it is a size small, I feel like it stretches out quite a bit.

So this could probably fit maybe a size medium as well.

Next, I got this playsuit for $81 in a size small in sky blue.

First off, it looks exactly the same as the picture for sizing.
