Still, for true crime fans, it is a gripping, deep dive into the Night Stalker case.

And he just slowly looked around the room to take it in and he looked Right in your eyes.

I Just Killed My dad dives into the case of Anthony Tomplay and what drove him to his breaking point.

It opens with Tomplay killing his father, Burt, and calmly calling the police to report the crime.

But as the story unfolds, it becomes clear this is no simple murder case.

Through interviews with Anthony, his family, neighbors and investigators, the series reveals a boy isolated from the world by his controlling father.

We have trouble getting along and, yeah, I don't really like him.

It highlights how years of abuse and manipulation destroyed the young man's life.

By the time he pulled the trigger, it was like breaking free from psychological captivity.

Overall, it'll leave you feeling sorry for templay while asking yourself if what he did was justified.

In the now famous interview, McGilvery described the incident with wild charisma, earning the nickname Kai the hatchet wielding hitchhiker.

Buddy gets out and these two women are trying to help him.

He runs up and he grabs one of them man like a guy that big can snap a woman neck like a pencil stick.

Just months later, Kai was arrested for the murder of Joseph Galfie in New Jersey.

Though he claimed self defense, he was eventually convicted of first degree murder and sentenced to 57 years in prison.

In February, Kai the hatchet wielding hitchhiker risked his life to save the lives of innocent people in West Fresno.
