I'm Derek and I'm here with another short lesson for you busy people.

In this lesson, I'm going to share lots of different ways to say thank you and show your appreciation.

So the first thing I want to do in this video is to say thank you to all of you for your support in 2021.

It's been a fantastic year for my channel

and none of that would have been possible without you.

The channel is about to reach two massive milestones.

Any day now, we're going to reach 75,000 subscribers and 2 million views.

This is the 50th video I've uploaded to the channel this year.

So that's almost 150 of my short lessons for you busy people.

And here are some more impressive numbers.

In 2021, we had 90,000 hours of watch time and almost 2,000 comments from viewers in more than 100 countries around the world.

Thank you so much for watching, subscribing, sharing and commenting and also for your requests.

I do my very best to reply to as many comments as possible and to fulfill as many requests as possible.

I'm going to show you 19 different ways to say thank you and show your appreciation.

And we're going to do it in three different sections.

First of all, we'll look at some informal ways to say thank you.

Then we'll have a look at a more formal style.

And at the end, I'll show you different ways to say thank you to your team.

So if someone does something for you and you want them to know that you'd be happy to help them in return.

If you you can say this, then we have I owe you one.

This is another way to thank someone for helping you and to say that you will do something for them in the future.

This is a very informal way to tell someone they have been very nice and helpful.

And here are two more you can use when someone does something very nice for you, something that is very, very helpful, maybe they give you something and this shows that they were thinking of you.

And now we'll move on to some more formal examples.

For example, we are very grateful for the support you have provided.

You could also replace support with a different noun.

Your reliability, your competence is greatly appreciated.

And again, here you can replace assistance with a different noun.

I sincerely appreciate your recommendation.

I would like to express my personal gratitude for the great support you provided.

And the support you provide is highly appreciated.

These formal examples are often used in written English.

And as I said before, we can often replace the nouns with other nouns depending on what we are saying thank you for.

And now we look at some different ways you can say thank you to your team.

Thanks very much for all your hard work this year.

I really appreciate the effort you put in.

Or thanks for all your efforts this year.

I know it's been tough, but you've all done a fantastic job.

I genuinely appreciate your flexibility and commitment.

And again, here you can replace those nouns with other nouns depending on what exactly you want to say.

The work you've done this year is so important for the business.
