Now, I, I, I even interviewed you as, as Smaug on the Colbert Report.

It's extremely rude, very expensive and people may understand it's not a voiceover to computer animation.

I remember calling Peter after I got the job and saying, I really want to come down and work with you in New Zealand.

We'll record the voice and it'll be fantastic.

No, I really want to do motion capture with you.

I think I need to do that because this thing is in its body.

It's not just this kind of cut off entity.

And I probably think none of it really took off the film, but it, it did give.

I mean, you know, they were amazing about it.

It Gives you a prowling quality that's translated into your voice, I imagine.

And at the end, I was like, okay, well, shall I just do the whole thing as a run?

It's not much compared to sort of running an entire bit of Hamlet or whatever Shakespeare play you care to mention that runs for two and a half plus hours.

It's like doing very strange, you know, one man pub theater in London to a group of guys in a room that looked like a kind of IRS office.

And then, you know, we did have to do a lot of the voice over again.

Because when you're crawling around like that, you know, his voice is something like, you know, I can smell you.

So we had to sort of amalgamate the voice of the movement again.
