I'm Angela Gorey and I'm going to show you how to have the best day in British Columbia.

From untouched forests to the innovative city of Vancouver, there's no shortage of adventures here.

But it all starts with our relationship to the sea.

We're out here in Deep Cove, which is a quaint seaside village in North Vancouver.

Kayaking here is the best at sunrise because the waters are really calm and you can either stay in this bay or continue on all the way down Indian Arm.

We're here at Honey's Donuts, which is an iconic place to come back after a day out on the water.

It's one of those places that feels like it's been here forever.

One of the best things about Vancouver is how it's nestled in the middle of so much incredible nature.

Only about 20 minutes away is the Lynn Canyon suspension bridge.

The bridge here sways 50 meters above the creek below.

This is an example of one of British Columbia's beautiful rainforests.

And it's one of my favorite ways to escape the summer heat.

For more of this incredible scenery, we're going to Cypress Mountain, about 30 minutes west.

Cypress Mountain is one of my favorite places to ski and snowboard in the winter time.

But in the summer, it's also one of my favorite places to hike.

We're up here on Mount Strachan, which is one of my favorite views in Vancouver.

It has unobstructed views of Howe Sound and the iconic lions.

You've seen some of our stunning landscapes.

Let's head to Vancouver, our biggest city in British Columbia.

The jewel of Vancouver is Stanley park, one of North America's largest urban green spaces.

One of my favorite things to do is ride my bike at the park.

Surrounded by forests, mountains and oceanfront views, we are on the unceded traditional territories of the Musqueam, Squamish and Tsuila Tooth Nations.

We're in Stanley park at the totem poles Here, usually totem poles represent stories told by first nations along with beautiful songs and dances.

Now let's take the Aquabus to one of my favorite spots, Granville Island.

The Aquabus is a ferry service that services this area of Vancouver called Falls Creek.

It's a mode of transportation for us, but it's also really nice opportunity to do some sightseeing.

The public market is at the heart of Granville island, but

there's also a bunch of shops from local artists, workshops, restaurants, a hotel, a brewery, just to name a few.

Kitsilano beach is one of British Columbia's signature panoramas and one of my favorite places to chill.
