The United States has entered the danger zone.

From 2015 to 2020, the Consumer Price Index has increased from 236 to 256.

Since 2020, the Consumer Price Index has Increased by 26%.

The Fed, who is responsible to keep inflation in check, attempt to control it by raising interest rates in 2020, when annual inflation has exceeded 9%.

Rapidly rising interest rates have caused a massive stock market crash and almost drove the US Economy into a painful recession.

Inflation did cool down to less than 2.3% by April 2025, but

the Fed needed another year to stabilize it at around 2%.

As the national debt is rising, every additional percentage point is costing US taxpayers $380 billion annually.

So keeping interest rates at 5% means the US government has to pay $1.5 trillion in interest payments alone, while running the largest deficit in human history.

As a result of that, the Fed changed course and began cutting interest rates.

But that is definitely going to lead to a much higher inflation.

This means that your dollars will start losing value much faster.

We are not going back to the period when inflation was rising modestly.

The era of high inflation is not over yet.

So here are the five things that rich people are buying to massively profit out of this high inflation era.

But everything changed the moment Donald Trump was sworn in as the President of the United States.

Investors quickly saw warning signs and opportunities on the other side.

Donald Trump made two most important decisions that made gold irresistible.

First, he imposed tariffs on every single nation in the world, which guaranteed inflation.

By 17th of October, gold prices crossed $4,338, a price that no one believed was possible just a year earlier.

But some investors weren't convinced by gold.

Sure, inflation has always been the main driver of gold prices.

But political instability had its own undeniable impact.

Historically, every time there is a spike in political instability and uncertainty, it pushed gold prices higher.

While correlation doesn't always mean causation, it seems like in the case of gold, it's almost always true.

That's why investors such as Warren Buffett took a completely different approach.

Instead of dumping all of its money into gold, he funneled all Berkshire Hathaway's cash into U.S. treasuries.

The U.S. government carries the largest debt ever amassed by any country.

so staggering that even if the US Government stopped borrowing money today and started paying it off, it can never eliminate it.

Mathematically, the debt is so large that the U.S.

government has to pay now over a trillion dollars in interest payments.

That is more than the entire military budget of the United States.

Because this, the US Government has to refinance its debts every single time to avoid a default by issuing new Treasuries.

New Treasuries will have to reflect the current market rates.

So in 2022, when the Fed hiked interest rates to tackle inflation, the new Treasuries offered at least 5.5% in interest rates.

He poured all of his cash into U.S. treasuries, receiving 5.5% in interest rates.

In 2024 alone, Warren Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway received more than 15 or $16 billion in cash from the U.S.

This year, he is expecting to receive about $14 billion in cash from U.S. taxpayers.

As long as inflation remains high, investors will keep demanding higher yields on Treasuries.

And since the US Government has no other option but to keep refinancing its debts to avoid a default, investors will continue massively profiting from US Treasuries, turning Periods of high inflation into massive profits.

The real question is why is the US Government running such a large debt in the first place?

While it's mathematically impossible to pay back that debt, the US Government has a plan.
