To have seen the bluenose on a dime for all these years and to finally see it in person, it's just spectacular.

And you guys need to cycle the Rum Runners trail.

We came to Mahone Bay and, I mean, it just kind of looked a little depressed, you know, it was not the best of days.

And today we're going to a new destination, and

we had the opportunity to go through Mahon Bay again, so we decided to stop.

It was the site of a gold rush here in Nova Scotia.

Are we going to try to get rich today or what?

Maybe we can buy some beer with it after.

So we made it to the ovens, and we have now walked down to Canards Beach.

And this is a very famous spot because this is where they found gold at one point on this very beach.

And as you can see, there isn't a whole lot of beach left.

That's because when they did find the gold, they basically bagged up all the sand and shipped half of it to Wales.

The other half of it was processed here, and, yeah, lots of gold was found and the beach was destroyed.

Maybe we'll find that nugget that'll change our lives forever, huh?

So we have made it to Tucker's tunnel here in the ovens.

Tucker found a vein of gold up there and he followed it, you know, mining all the way down here until he reached this cave.

But not only that, it looks like he continued digging all the way out there, because it looks like that was part was man made.

And on this other side you have the ocean.

So what a piece of work did Tucker do here?

I hope he found a lot of gold and he became a millionaire because this is a lot of work.

I'm glad we can hear them and not see them.

I bet if we look good enough, we might be able to find them, though.

So, yeah, there's a few of these tunnels and sea caves here in the oven.

So we're just going to continue walking the sea cave trail and show you some of the other spots.

As you probably already know, Sam and I were here last summer, so there is a video of that.

Today's a super foggy day, so we're definitely getting a different feel, a different vibe.
