We're at a Japanese rest stop, my favorite place to be.

It's like absolutely gorgeous and this place is super cool because it has like tons of food.

Like little omiyage, like snacks and things that you can get.

And we got a Starbucks like right inside.

We planned two trips before the baby comes.

And if you haven't been on a Japanese road trip and stopped at the rest stops, they're amazing.

We have to stop at like every single one.

We made it to the hotel, but I'm not going to give a tour until tomorrow because I'm exhausted.

So we're going to go and just go for a walk and see what's around.

I'll just give a quick glimpse though, because you have to see this.

Like look, we have our own freaking bath.

Oh wait, the bugs might come in through here.

This hotel is called Fuji Lake Hotel and it is well worth the stay.

I'm so glad that we were able to go on this trip.

We have one more trip that we're planning on going on before the baby comes, but I know that we're not going to have a lot of time alone anymore.

So we spent a little bit more money than we normally would, but it was such a beautiful experience and it was right after typhoon.

Why is it wood?  You call him baby lemon?

So we made it to the hotel and I was going to actually do a little bit of a tour.

I was actually going to do a little bit of a tour tomorrow, but before I forget, and I just kind of want to do it maybe during the day and at night.

So we're at Fuji Lake Hotel and Fuji Lake Hotel is, has been around since 1932.

Some of the rooms are more expensive than others.

We decided to go for a more expensive one just because, you know, baby's on the way and like we want to do all the things, right?

So we got one with a private bath so I can change the temperature.

I have to keep pushing the cold water to get it to go back to 38 degrees.

You can see like the temperature is like wavering a little bit. 39, 38, 38, 39 temperature is okay.

And you can sit in the bath for up to 10 minutes and then soak your feet in the bath for just a few more minutes.

So that's completely safe when you're pregnant.

And actually my mother-in-law, she took baths her entire pregnancy.

I feel like sushi is a lot more safer in Japan just because, you know, sushi is super fresh, especially at a really high end place like this.

But I still choose not to eat like a ton of raw fish or anything like that.

I'll have like shrimp or like some semi-cooked sushi and things like that.

I'm going to vlog more thoroughly tomorrow because we're going to have another amazing dinner.

But I wanted to show you quickly what our room looks like.

We have a little lounge chair over there.

We have the view of the lake, which is really nice.

There was a Mount Fuji view, but we really liked that we have a balcony outside because this is one of the only rooms that had a balcony.

So it was like, we can have the best of both worlds.

We have a tatami mat and a sort of Western table.

We just had dinner there, which is super nice.

There's a steak cooking in there, which is crazy.
