Right now I am in my favourite beach area that is close to Tokyo.

It actually took me less than an hour to get here from Shinagawa station.

Today I wanted to show you some cool ways that you can actually save some money if you come to visit this area for a day trip or a weekend and show you some of the things that you can do while you're in the area.

To get to Hayama I travelled from Shinagawa station and used the Keikyu line.

Actually a huge thank you to the Keikyu corporation for sponsoring today's video.

They wanted me to introduce this ticket called the Hayama excursion ticket which actually saved me a heap of money.

So stick around until the end and I'll show you just how much.

You can purchase this ticket at Haneda airport, Shinagawa station or also online and it costs 4,030 yen.

The ticket includes unlimited Keikyu trains and buses for that day to, from and around Zushi and Hayama.

But you also receive an activity ticket and a food ticket.

They actually didn't tell me to say this but the reason I wanted to take this job is because I love the Keikyu line.

Their trains are so beautiful and iconic.

Well, let's just take a moment to enjoy the trains.

Okay, let's catch the train to Zushi Hayama.

I just got off the bus right there and directly next to the bus stop is my first stop which I'm going to for lunch.

I saw on the ticket that this was on the list of places I could go to get a lunch.

They have a lot of different types of lunches.     Let's go get a good bite to eat and enjoy the seaside vibes.

Actually, this is a big secret reveal for you guys because my favorite beach close to Tokyo is actually Ishiki Kaigan in Hayama.

Unfortunately, we're not going there today but that's just a little reveal for you.

If you're looking for a really nice beach to go to, I find that like Zushi is great, Kamakura is great but if you are able to just get on a bus, just catch a train to Zushi and then get on a bus, the beach quality does improve a lot and there's less people.

Ishiki Kaigan is really good and the sunset is really, really beautiful.

Right now, I've just put in my order for my lunch.

I'm going to be doing a poke bowl but it's interesting because there are different foods that you can get on this ticket so you can choose a meal from heaps of different places.

You can view them on the website or in a pamphlet and it's included in the price of the ticket so you actually save a bunch of money.

It's a good cost-effective way to have a good time.

Check the website or the pamphlet for the times when the restaurant allows the ticket to be used then just show up and hand it over to them.

Sometimes, they will require a reservation so just make sure you check the website beforehand.

I have salmon and tuna and avocado, some beautiful salad and some sauce, dressing, liquid.

I'm going to pour a little bit over this side and just get in there.  Okay, all right.

We got some like crunchy almost chili oil.

Oh, it's so much more flavorful than I was expecting.

It's really salty and crunchy and almost like garlicky.

And even though it's like well-seasoned and nicely flavored, it's a very light dish.

Okay, I missed some important information.

Turns out the tuna is Misaki tuna, which is from this area, from this coast.

So we got some local fish, baby, and you can taste the freshness.

Put some little chili and like garlic chips on your poke bowls.

It's time to fuel up, baby, because we got a big day ahead of us.

So let's eat and get going.  I couldn't come to Hayama without visiting Morito Daimyojin Shrine.

It's a beautiful shrine that's right next to the ocean.

I don't know if you can hear the cicadas, but it's a very summer ocean vibes shrine.

This place was built by the first shogun of Kamakura.

And I read that it's well known for blessing babies.

I think maybe one of the gods is about blessing babies.

Emma's are actually the wooden boards you write wishes on at shrines.

But yeah, if you want to get a baby blessed here, I think this is the place.

Oh, it's kind of crazy looking at the faceless babies.

But while I'm here, I'm not about to pray for any baby related business, but I would like to pray while I'm here because you could pray for a variety of things.

And there's also a beautiful torii gate on the water that I'm excited to see in a little bit.

Oh, and I think you can fish for omikuji.

When you come to visit a shrine, one important thing to bring is the luckiest coin, which is goen.

Also, something interesting about when you pray, you don't have to do this, but I found that you're supposed to say your name and your address, like where you live, when you pray.

And I get so like nervous every time that I forget my address.

I was like, oh, please let the shoot go well today.

I don't know if I'm supposed to say what I pray for.

But hopefully kami sama heard my prayer and we have a great shoot today.
