We're staying at the Langham Huntington in Pasadena, California, and if you're not familiar with Pasadena, California, it is located in Los Angeles.

And I actually don't live too far from here, but Crystal is visiting me from Tampa, Florida, so we thought, I thought when she was visiting, we could do something a little bit different, a staycation for me, and a little, I don't know, vacation, yeah, vacation, yeah, a vacation away from my place, I guess.

To-infinitive

I did want to note that we were hosted for this stay, so basically we stayed here for two nights and three days, and we were, basically the two nights were comped.

We did get $100 dining credit, but I will say that only probably goes for just one dining meal, because we stayed, the entire time we were here, we dined here, we never left the premises to go dining, and we went well over the $100.

So we have spent our own money as well dining here.

I believe there's no self-parking, because they didn't even ask, so.

And I think when I saw online, it was $41, but when I went to the desk up front where the valet is, it said $47, so I think it's going to be about $50 with tip.

I also wanted to note that it is a pet-friendly stay, and that's another reason why I wanted to stay here.

They did check in with us and stayed a day and a half with us.

Then after that, I did take them home, because we wanted to enjoy the pool area, and dogs are not allowed in the pool area.

That's pretty much the only place they are not allowed, but other than that, they were welcomed everywhere.

But they include dog beds and water bowls.

So now that we have stayed here, we are checking out.

We thought we'd give you a tour of the room, and so do you want to go first?

Alright, so this is, you know, where the magic happens.

We're talking about MTV Cribs a lot on this trip, and that's what they used to always say is like, here's where all the magic happens.

But no, this is our king bed, so I believe this is like a deluxe room.

We had like a corner room too, so it was really nice.

I think it's a, you get like a little bit of a better space and views when you have corner rooms usually.

So our room was on the fifth floor, and it was room 568.

So this room in particular was a king size bed, so we shared that, and this bed was so comfortable.

It was just like one of like the most comfortable beds like we both slept in.

We slept for hours, and we both slept in a lot.

I want to find out what kind of bed this is.

And pillows too, of course, were like very comfortable.

And then over here is the desk area, working desk.

We did utilize this a little bit just to like place our stuff.

I didn't actually do any work here, but there are a couple of outlets here on the light.

So I use this to charge my phone and other devices.

There's actually a Bose sound system here.

We didn't use it, but that's an option if you want to listen to music and connect your phone or something, and they have like a remote and everything.

So the light, there's a light switch back here, kind of hard to see, but it's actually a slider so you can adjust the, yeah, the brightness of the lamp.

The only thing is that this side, because I slept on this side and the right side, and then Karen slept on the left side, but on the right side, there's no outlets at all.

So I had to like get up and like charge my phone or whatever I needed to charge, I had to, you know, before, I think a lot of people do this, but before they go to bed, they just go on their phone, right?

And you kind of like charge up at the end of the day so that, you know, you're ready for the next day as you're looking at your phone.

But since I wasn't able to do that, each time I was ready to go to bed, I had to like get up and charge my phone at a different location.

So that was, I don't know, a little bit of an inconvenience.

Like, I wish they would put some outlets here too for the guest sleeping on this side.

But on the other side, there are a lot of outlets here.

So Candy's side had this outlet box, so there's two outlets and there's also a USB port here and then one on the other side as well.

So the TV here, it is kind of at a weird angle.

It's not in front of you, it's actually to the side of you, which, I mean, it wasn't a problem for us.

You just have to, you know, tilt the TV this way and so you can watch the TV from the side like this.

They have an espresso, so you have lots of coffee pot options there.

So I thought this was all coffee pots, but these ones are tea.

And then the bottom drawer is empty, so both bottom drawers are like what you use to store any clothing you want.

So oh yeah, we did have some to-go food here.

We also got some macaroons too upon check-in, so that was very lovely.

They came with macaroons decorated so nicely here.

And we also got lots of bottles of water.

So they keep on offering you water, so you don't have to worry about water here.

And also throughout the property, you'll see lots of water stations where you could get water as well.

Captain Candy's dog really loved this chair.

These were the dog beds that came with the room.

One was a little bit larger than the other one.

Actually Zoe in particular really liked this dog bed, which is unusual for her because she usually does not like dog beds.

She always has to sleep on the bed with me, but she actually slept in this bed, which was, like I said, unusual.

I wish it was a floor-length mirror though.

I just, just as me, like I like floor-length mirrors so I can see the whole outfit, but it's nice that there's a mirror here.

And then I believe these are like suit racks, I think.

I've never used one of them, but I have noticed them in other hotels I've stayed at.

I think that's where the coat goes and probably the pants.

Want to make your shoes all shiny, but yeah, I use this to hang up my blazer, so it did come in handy.

And then this is the entrance, which is, I love hotels that have entrances where you can put your keys and little miscellaneous items so that you're not looking around for them when you're about to leave.
