The price of bitcoin over the last month has dropped from around $108,000 to as little as $88,000.

As I am recording this video, the price of bitcoin is going down and down, and it makes absolutely no sense.

Past simple

On one side, we have institutional investors such as MicroStrategy who just purchased like 2 billion dollars worth of bitcoin, and there are rumors that middle eastern countries such as Saudi Arabia, Qatar and UAE, those guys with trillions of dollars, are massively buying bitcoin.

When there is so much demand, the price should go to $200,000, $300,000.

So what exactly is happening with the price of bitcoin?

So here in this video, I am gonna explain to you the real reason behind the fall of the price of bitcoin, and you will be able to predict the price of bitcoins moving forward because what I am about to share with you isn't just to tell you my opinion, but I will share with you some economic facts about how the entire market works.

If you look at the price of the bitcoin, one thing is instantly clear, the price is not stable.

One day it's $50,000 like just 6 months ago, and then it's $180,000 and today it's below $90,000.

We have very stable assets on one side, and we have very risky and volatile assets on the other side.

If I would ask you, what is most stable, bitcoin or real estate?

Real estate has been around for thousands of years.

On the other side, if you think about crypto, it's a recent technology that came out as a result of the 2008 financial crisis, so it's less than 20 years old.

It will take some time for the technology to grow.

And when you have a very volatile asset, very small changes instantly have real rapid reactions in the stock market.

Let's say the president of the US said something positive about bitcoin.

Because it's so volatile, the price instantly jumps.

On the other side, we have some negative news, let's say China has banned bitcoin, that's very bad news for bitcoin.

So when you see the price of bitcoin or any crypto is going up instantly or going down tomorrow, that is absolutely normal.

I wouldn't be surprised by the end of this video that the price of bitcoin goes up to over a hundred thousand dollars.

If Warren Buffett tomorrow wants to sell 10 billion dollars worth of apple stocks in the market, it's not going to influence massively the market, because there are plenty of people who are willing to buy the apple stocks.

That's what liquidity in the market means.

The less the asset is liquid, the more volatile it's going to be.

So if I want to sell my 10 bitcoins or a hundred bitcoins instantly, it is going to have massive influence in the market, because there are not enough buyers in order to keep driving the price up.

And all of these factors drive speculators to the market.

If you take S&P 500, it's not really that volatile.

Yes, every single day it goes slightly up and it goes slightly down by 0.05 percent.

But these are not the kind of profits you want to make as a speculator.

You want the asset to jump 20% in a single day.

That's where you can speculate and make a ton of money.

So if I put 10 thousand dollars into bitcoin and tomorrow it grows by 20%, I made 2 thousand dollars overnight.

But if I put 10 thousand dollars into S&P 500 and it grows by 0.5 percent, you can do the math, I just made pennies on the dollar.

So the more volatile the asset is, the more speculators it is going to drive and the more volatile it's going to be.

Because as a speculator, I do not trust in the technology, I do not believe in the technology.

I'm not buying bitcoin because I think that tomorrow bitcoin is going to dominate the world and it's going to revolutionize the entire financial system.

That's not why I'm buying bitcoin as a speculator.

I'm buying bitcoin because the price jumps up and down and I want to profit from that  technology, but the more speculators jump to profit from it, the more volatile it's going to be.

Remember back in the days when the price of Tesla stock was actually going up and down.

Shorting is basically when you are profiting from the stock when it's falling down.

In order to predict the price of any asset, all you have to do is to look at the investors expectations about that particular asset.

It's not really important what is happening to the market today.

What is far more important is what investors believe is going to happen to the market in the future.

I'm not saying that what's happening today is irrelevant, but what's more important is what will happen in the future, and that thing might not happen or will happen.

What is important is what investors believe so.

Let's say you want to profit from bitcoin.

You are going to buy bitcoin today if you believe that the price of bitcoin is going to rise by 20% a month from now.

If you believe that it is going to fall, you are going to sell your bitcoins today.

So your actions today are as a result of your understanding and belief about what will happen in the future.

So the better you understand what investors will do in the future, the more accurately you can predict the price of bitcoin.

And what investors believe, just look at what's happening in the world.

If we have so much great news about Apple, if investors believe that Apple tomorrow is going to build a product that is going to be far more superior than iPhone, and it is going to sell way better than iPhone, and it will drive an extra $100 billion to Apple next year, then investors will flood to buying Apple stocks, even though that product hasn't been developed yet, even though that product hasn't been sold in the market yet.

So demand for the stock today is going to rise, which will drive the stock prices higher.

Everybody in the market believes that AI is the future, and the demand for the GPUs from Nvidia is going to keep growing, and that's why they are buying the stock today, even though Nvidia hasn't sold enough in order to justify its price.

When Trump was running for the president, the first thing that he made it clear to the world that, when I become president, United States is going to become the crypto capital of the world.

And US becoming crypto capital of the world is far more important than any country on  I'm not trash talking other countries.

I'm not trying to downside other countries.

I have full respect for every single country on the planet.

But you have to understand that we are talking about economics.

So the US has far more money, far more wealth than any country in the world.

So when you're deregulating the market in the United States and making it much easier to invest in crypto, more money will be spent on crypto in the US than, for example, in a country like Argentina or Brazil or United Kingdom.

So more money flowing into crypto will drive prices higher and higher and will drive the price of Bitcoin higher.

Trump also promised lower interest rates when he is going to become the president.

If you have a lot of money in the bank, you are far more likely to invest in risky investments than somebody who is living paycheck to paycheck.

If you ask somebody that, listen, instead of paying your rent, why don't you take that money and put it in crypto?

That guy will think twice because if crypto is not going to succeed, he will become homeless.

But if a rich person invests in crypto and crypto goes down, he's not worried about that.

And that's why when interest rates are driven down by the Federal Reserve, more money will be flowing into the economy.

Borrowing money is going to be much more cheaper and the chances that investors will invest in risky assets is going to dramatically rise.

All of these factors drove investors to believe that when Trump is going to become the president of the United States, United States will actually become the crypto capital of the world.

So they had so much positive expectations about the future of Bitcoin before Trump became the president.

It's one thing what Trump promises, and it's a completely different thing what he does when he becomes the president of the United States.

And that is the difference between why the price of Bitcoin kept growing in the beginning and now it's falling down.

There is one thing that we all can agree about Trump.

Nobody knows what Trump is going to do in the future.

United States has different trade agreements all across different countries.

It has free trade agreements with Mexico and Canada.

It has really great trade agreements with the European Union, the United Kingdom, Southeast Asian countries.

And now Trump came in and he started imposing tariffs on all of these countries, claiming that those trade agreements that the United States and previous administrations have signed with the rest of the world are not fair to the United States.

So either we are going to change these trade agreements or I'm going to impose tariffs like you have never seen on you.

So he promised to impose like a 25% tariff on Canada, on Mexico, on the European Union.

All these tariffs are creating uncertainty about the future.

Because when you're imposing tariffs and you're getting rid of these free trade agreements, you are increasing the prices of everything.

Suddenly we have to change the entire supply chains.

When you are building a car in the United States, do not think for a moment that everything can be built within the US.

You have the engine that is being built in one country.

Now that engine, part of it is built in one country.
