The United States announced that it's launching Bitcoin strategic reserve in order to make the United States the crypto capital of the world.

And that means that any attempts by the US government to obtain Bitcoin is going to lead to a massive increase in Bitcoin price, potentially leading to a bubble.

Bitcoin emerged as a result of the 2008 financial crisis in order to replace the dollar.

So let's explore why the United States is trying to boost and buy as many bitcoins as possible when the goal of Bitcoin is to replace the dollar.

Despite the fact that the United States have been cracking down on multiple crypto firms over the last years, United States is one of the largest holders of crypto, primarily by seizing it through criminal investigations.

One of the most famous cases is the Silk Road.

When the FBI shut down their website, they seized around 144,000 bitcoins, worth today over 10 to 20 billion dollars, depends on the valuation.

US secret services consistently seize bitcoins from different criminal enterprises.

But Donald Trump has a completely different vision.

He wants to grow United States stockpile of Bitcoin and crypto in general by buying it from the open market.

By launching the Bitcoin strategic reserve, Donald Trump is sending a message to the world that the United States is going to become the crypto capital of the world.

The US government is no longer going to obtain bitcoins by investigating and interrogating crypto firms.

If you are a crypto firm, come to the United States, do business in the United States.

In fact, the government is going to protect you from the regulators.

As long as you pay taxes and abide by the law, you are most welcome to do business in the US.

This is music to the ears of crypto firms.

Because United States market is the largest market in the world, and unlike other consumers such as Chinese consumers, United States consumers are much more eager to spend their money.

Which means that by taking over the entire US market, Bitcoin could become as valuable as gold much faster than most people expect.

In fact, Donald Trump, the president of the United States at the White House Digital Asset Summit said that he believes that Bitcoin is as valuable as gold.

Now when your friend says that, nobody cares about that, but when the most powerful person in the world believes that, it actually matters.

He also threw the slogan that never sell your bitcoin, which means that the US government potentially is going to buy those bitcoins and keep them as a real reserve just like it's keeping these gold reserves.

So that leads to the question, why the United States is suddenly so interested in cryptocurrencies?

Since the dot com revolution of the 1990s, the internet became a place that is completely controlled by a few giant corporations.

Google, Facebook, Netflix, YouTube are all the internet.

If we take away Google, Amazon, and Netflix, there is no internet whatsoever, they ended up controlling the platform, the data, and the content.

Take them out and the internet no longer exists.

But we are on the verge of yet another internet revolution, on the verge of web 3.0, where the power is going to be shifted from those multi-trillion dollar corporations into the hands of the average individuals or the average consumers, and bitcoin is at the heart of that revolution.

Bitcoin is the ultimate place to store value and move it through the economy.

It can't be hacked, it's secure, it's safe, and it cannot possibly be taken away.

You might not agree with that statement, but millions of people all across the globe are working or have been working for the last 10 years to make that possible, and that progress is becoming even faster than ever.

But if you literally dig down deep into it, you will find out that there is an underlying hidden reason why the government is so interested into bitcoin.

The United States has a complete monopoly over the financial system, and that has been the case since 1945.

There isn't a single international transaction that takes place without the permission of the United States.

Even if that transaction is between the two countries that the United States has nothing to do with, there is certainly an intermediary bank that allows the transaction to happen, and it's most likely a US bank.

And that gives enormous power to the United States.

If the United States does not likes a country that is within that financial system, then the US can simply kick it out of that system.

And that's the power that the United States does not want to give up.

That is another reason why the dollar is the global currency reserve and not any other currency.

Whoever controls the global financial system controls the world.

There is even like a quote by Nathan Rothschild back in 18th century who said that, I don't actually care who is the king or the queen of that country, as long as I control the monetary system of that country, I am in charge.

To stand up to the United States, you need an entirely global financial system.

So central banks across the globe have been exploring the idea of using the blockchain technology to create an alternative currency that is similar to traditional currencies and works in the exact same way, but allows them to bypass the United States financial system.

And that blockchain system is going to be much more safer, much faster, and much secure, and will take away that leverage and the power of the United States over the global financial system.

And that is a threat not just to the US financial system, but to the dollar, and any threat to the US dollar is a threat to the US economy.

By making the United States the crypto capital of the world, the United States aims to back all stable currencies by a dollar.

A stable currency is a digital coin or a digital crypto that is being backed by a particular currency.

So a USDT is backed by dollar, so a single USDT equals one dollar.

If all stable currencies will be backed by the US dollar or by the Fed directly or the government of the United States, this will give enormous power to the US government over the entire digital currencies, over the entire crypto world.

So crypto or bitcoin in particular is not going to replace the dollar, but it simply will become a tool in the hands of the Fed or the US government to have much more influence over the entire global financial system.

It will only strengthen the position of the dollar, because those stable currencies will be backed by a currency that is being issued by the Federal Reserve of the United States.

But to make that possible, United States first needs to create authority in the crypto space in order to dictate the rules upon which the entire crypto industry is going to work with, and that is why it is buying a lot of bitcoin, because bitcoin is the face of crypto.

Bitcoin is not going to replace any currency, and it's most likely not going to play the role of the currency, but by having a large stockpile of bitcoin, it is going to give it that advantage.

Just like having a lot of gold is going to give you an advantage to have a stable currency, bitcoin is going to give you an advantage for your currency to back the stable coins.

The US dollar is not backed by gold, or any currency is not backed by gold, but the country that has the most available amounts of gold has the most stable currency, because that gold gives it stability, and the United States has the largest gold reserves in the world, which makes the United States the most stable currency in the world.

Currently, the United States has around 200 thousand bitcoins, but if it wants to have any real meaningful impact over the crypto world, it needs to increase its reserve to at least a million bitcoins, and since the United States is most likely not going to mine bitcoins, but will more likely going to buy it, that can easily drive the price of bitcoin to at least a few hundred thousand dollars over the next couple of years.

That also can create competition among other central banks across the globe, from Russia, China, European Union, and the rest of the world to keep buying bitcoin, further increasing and boosting the price of bitcoin, and yet creating another bubble.
