Got insanely lucky with the weather this time and a nice hotel.

I'm probably going to do an entire room tour if it's already up.

Noah's got like the big fancy room and we just did a walk around in here.

And like the toilet's magical when you do this.

It's just fancy room, but you don't have your own private bridge.

In fact, my room, my room I'm pretty sure is just faces out to carpentry.

I wanted to get something called Chicken Namban.

It's kind of local to the Kansai area, but it didn't look like they had it here.

Alright, so there's somewhere I want to take you.

Alright, so it turns out it wasn't anywhere near as close as I thought.

So we're in a taxi and Noah is enjoying just how narrow some of these roads are.

This looks like you're going to dump my body here.

So I'm actually on a mission to visit somebody right now.

But I did this hike through Kyoto a few months back.

And after shooting that video, I decided to research more about the area.

So it looks like this is or was the remnants of a shrine.

This is never something I would have found on my own here.

So about a year or two ago, I went out to an area that I heard had some abandoned villages.

And I lived in the area for like three days to meet people who used to live there and tell their stories.

But I just love how this is in the middle of a bamboo forest.

The structure of this place is really interesting because there's this whole section here that goes underground.

Not to mention the fact that people are clearly still coming by the shrine to drop off like bottles of tea.

And then it continues down under there as well as over here.

This whole little section here goes down under also.

I want to see if it's connected down there.

But I've seen a lot of really interestingly shaped shrines and whatnot in Japan.

Other than maybe discomfort and spider webs.

The best part is that this is really only the beginning of the little hike we're about to do.

I don't even know if I can call it a hike.

I still don't have words to describe this.

I'm pretty sure this is the path that I want to go on.

Okay, it looks like it's covering a cement bridge.

But now I'm wondering what's up this way.

See, this is why I love exploring places that I've never explored before.
