I'm going to show you the way Vietnamese people enjoy a coffee in the morning.

I live here and I have to say that I love the traffic here, which seems like chaos to foreigners but it's actually an organized chaos.

I'm a content creator and a TV host from Vietnam.

I think this is one of my favorite spots in the Independence Palace.

I'm originally from the north central province of Nghe An but I've stayed in Ho Chi Minh

Ho Chi Minh City has such great energy and you can feel that when you come here.

And I'm so excited to bring you around our largest city in Vietnam and here's what I do in my downtime.

What better way to start the day than a cup of coffee, not from a chain but from an Indy stall owner by the road.

So one of the most popular drinks in Vietnam is cà phê sữa đá, which is coffee with condensed milk.

And on the way to work, a lot of people stop by to buy cà phê sữa đá.

Vietnam is one of the largest coffee producers in the world, especially Robusta.

So a lot of foreigners, when they try this, they will be like, ah, for the rest of the day because it's too strong.

But when you get used to it, you will be obsessed with it.

This is such a good way to start the day.

Here we are at District 1, which is the central of Ho Chi Minh City.

This district is famous for a lot of iconic and popular tourist destinations and buildings.

And here we are at April 30th Park, Công Biên 30 tháng Tư.

Because April 30th is a very special day for a country.

That day marked the unification of Vietnam.

And I'm gonna show you the way how Vietnamese people enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning.

So cà phê, coffee, vệt means on the ground.

The weather in Ho Chi Minh City is generally warm and hot.

So having a cup of iced coffee here, having a conversation with buddies, it's convenient, right?

Actually, I can easily chop three of these as a coffee lover.

And I recommend you trying coffee when you come here.

The city is a busy city, but in a good way.

A stone's throw away from a coffee face is the Independence Palace.

And welcome to the Independence Palace, or another name, Reunification Palace.

When the visitors pass through the gate, you will immediately see the grass here, which creates a calming and refreshing feeling when you first enter here.

And this place is really special for Ho Chi Minh City.

On April 30, 1975, the two tanks of the North Vietnamese Army crashed through the gates of this Independence Palace, marking the fall of the Republic of Vietnam and reuniting the whole country.

There are hundreds of rooms in the Independence Palace.

I always feel like this color is really suitable for negotiation because it gives people the feeling of peace, you know, just from my perspective.

There are many people visiting on a daily basis.

And one fun fact, if you come here, you will often see young people in Vietnam in traditional costumes like Cao Giai on weekends, on national holidays.

They come here, take pictures, film the videos.

And it's just like a ritual for the Vietnamese young people.

This place reminds us of the history of our country.

To acknowledge the history and be grateful for the older generations, so that we can live peacefully as we do today.

We're on the second floor of the Independence Palace.

And here you can see a very unique and interesting architecture, a mix of Vietnamese, Eastern,

And definitely when you visit Independence Palace, you must visit the balcony.

You get the overview of Saigon City in just one place.

We move away from the bustling commercial city center to find some peace at Chua Ngoc

This is Trang Ngan Pera Pagoda, Ngoc Hoang Pagoda.

This pagoda is built and established in 1909.

And this is one of the very first places I went to when I first moved to Ho Chi Minh

So my friend, who is also a Buddhist, took me here.

He visited the Ngoc Hoang Pagoda in 2016.

In Vietnam, the custom of visiting the pagodas is Le Chua.

Le is visiting, but also showing all the sincerity to the Buddha and to the gods of the pagodas.

And people come here every day, especially at the beginning and at the end of each lunar month.

People often come here to pray for peace and luck in life, especially in the matter of child and love.

Whatever you give to the world, no matter good or bad, will always come back to you.

This city has such a vibrant, exciting energy, and you can feel that when you come here.

When we're in the boulevard, I come here to enjoy some food, to have a conversation with my friends, to film as well.

You might be wondering about the history of this walking street, dating back to the 18th century.

It used to be a grand canal with the function of carrying the water from Saigon River to

And in 2015, this walking street is officially launched, attracting thousands of visitors on a daily basis.
