It's been nearly two years and still, 50 of the hostages Hamas took on October 7, 2023 have not returned home.

Israeli officials believe fewer than half of them are still alive.

Frustration is high among families of the hostages after Israel and the U.S. pulled their teams out of ceasefire talks in Qatar this week.

Many blame Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for the failure to reach a comprehensive deal with Hamas.

Their weekly Saturday demonstrations are designed to stress that time for their loved ones is running out.

Five of her family members were at one point being held by Hamas.

No one in Israel will be on stage of recovery unless the whole 50 hostages will be home and we will see the end of the catastrophe around us and recovery will be starting.

We are all in terrible sorrow of seeing what happened.

I remind you that on October 7th, 250 hostages were taken from their beds and now there are still 50 and all the selection and the ongoing war and the terrible situation in Gaza and the humanitarian crisis everywhere and Hamas still holding and still terrorizing not only Israel but also the Palestinians.

We are looking forward a ceasefire and end to this terrible war and the return of all 50 hostages at once.

No selection and bringing hope to our Mediterranean region.

As you say, 50 hostages still remain with Hamas and it must be frustrating.

Israelis in our report are not happy with the efforts of the Netanyahu government to free them.

What are your thoughts on how it's been going so far?

I belong to the 85 percent of the Israelis who say we are not our government.

We want this end to war, this war to end and we know that the release of the hostages will do that.

There is a call for end of the war and the return of all hostages home so people will be able to return to respectful life, to respectful conditions, to some kind of a resilience that will grow in order for us to go back to normal life.

As long as Hamas is terrorizing the Middle East, Gaza and Israel, we are in danger.

This Islamic extremist is actually hurting their own people, including ours, no matter whether we are Jews or Muslim or Druze or Kurdish.

We have to be very, very careful in describing the situation.

The terror has to end and the suffering both of the Palestinians themselves and ours must end.

It's heartbreaking to see what's happening.

You just returned from a trip to Germany with other hostage family members.

What do you make of Germany's role in helping with the return of hostages and end the war in Gaza?

I think that we want to thank Germany for everything they did until now, but we are on a critical point and this is why we went.

We want all Germans to know there are still seven German citizens held by Hamas in the Gaza Strip.

So we asked the German government to talk more, to explain, to show the catastrophe and to take responsibility in making sure that the German hostages are coming back out of Gaza, but not all of them, because we are not talking about selection.

We think Germany is taking responsibility and doing they could do more.

We would like more leaders to announce that publicly and we want Germany to push the countries they know they can push.

We need an international coalition to end this humanitarian catastrophe.

And we're there with Germany, with the rest of the world and with the United States calling stop the war, bring the hostages back, bring hope to the Middle East, Palestinians and Israelis as well.
