People have said perfection, beautiful, smart, charming.

I don't think we both could look more like we were just in bed.

I have felt excluded, felt like I'm weird, like nobody wants me around.

But when you're in it, you feel like you're the only one and you don't know what to do.

And you feel like it's gonna be kind of your entire life.

That you're never gonna grow out of it, that this is just the way it is.

But the truth is, is that I think probably everybody has felt that way at one time or another.

You know when you're in elementary school, you kind of, you invite everybody to your birthday.

And I had a best friend when I was little.

I invited her to my birthday and she had a birthday.

And the birthday was at a salon and they all got their hair done.

I think I was the only girl in the class who wasn't invited.

You know, before that I was really trusting of people.

I was very much like, of course they like me.

Of course, you know, they want to play with me and hang out.

And then after that I was kind of like, oh, maybe there's something wrong with me.

Or maybe, you know, people don't just automatically want to be my friend.

So I feel like that kind of definitely put a damper on the rest of my life.

Don't sing anymore, we can't, we're not allowed.

I grew up in a very kind of sheltered environment.

And then I got to college and that was just like, whoa.

I had never really been in a bigger school.

And I never really had to make friends before.

Because I had just grown up in this small school.

I just had friends, like we were just all in the same environment.

But in college, just because we were in the same class didn't mean that you were gonna talk to me.

So I think in college, I remember a couple things happening.

It's like social media, Facebook, all of that.

There was also a website in our school that's like, we went to the same college.

Fun fact, we went to the same college and were roommates.

And there was a website where you could talk about other people.

Yeah, where you could talk about other people.

So that was like a whole other thing on top of that.

People talked shit about me on this anonymous board.

And I didn't know what to do about it because it was anonymous.

And I remember coming home Thanksgiving break and not wanting to go back to school.

You want people to remember you for the nice things you've done, not the bad things you've done.

And if you're the person who is feeling excluded or not feeling like you belong, just, you know, you're gonna be able to find people you belong with.

You're gonna be able to find that group of people even though it may not seem like it's that easy.
