This is every flavor of Japanese KitKat, and today I'm gonna be opening and trying all of them.

Adverbs of manner

In case you didn't already know, Japan is obsessed with KitKat and the available flavors are constantly, constantly, constantly changing.

It took me about two to three months to collect all of these, so let's jump into them before they expire.

This... this one is wasabi flavored. We will likely save that for last.

I have no idea where to start. I know I'm really looking forward to the umeshu and sake flavored ones, but since it's already in my hand, why don't we try this salt lemon, shio lemon flavored KitKat.

Maybe that is not the way I intended to open that.

These remind me of something. I can't quite put my finger on exactly what it is, but some kind of cookie from my childhood.

If I were to give them a ranking, I would give these a 9 out of 10.

Should we just make it like 9 out of 10 KitKat? We'll make it 9 out of 10 KitKats.

For the second one, I want to go with something that I have never, ever tried before.

The name of these is borderline inappropriately long.

It is Takatsu no Original Momiji Manju flavor.

That... something tells me that's more of a mouthful than the actual KitKats themselves are going to be.

It is a box full of 10, and they come in these cute little packages.

I'm conflicted. Actually, okay, the aftertaste is good.

If you've ever had red bean paste, anko, that's the flavor they're going for.

When it initially hits you, it doesn't feel that way, but it comes in the aftertaste.

I want to jump right into the milk tea flavored one. Oh, 6 out of 10, by the way. 6 out of 10.

It tastes like milk tea, and it has a long-lasting aftertaste.

I will give that one an 8 out of 10. I like it.

That did not go well, and I thought it would go well, and it didn't.

Original is always good, and although ripped, you may have noticed that there is a message written on the package.

You can definitely pass, and that's because Japan's obsession with KitKats originally comes with the KitKat.

You will definitely win. You will definitely pass.

And so, during exam time for university students, these are often given out with these little messages on them, as, you can do it. You can succeed.

And now, Japan has over 300 flavors, a lot of which I need to try and get through today.

Next, we're gonna go with these ones here.

I've had these before. I will tell you right out of the gate, these are a very solid 10 out of 10, if you like chocolate and orange.

This box has always caught my eye, and I've never purchased one.

These are the Mt. Fuji Special Strawberry Cheesecake Flavored KitKats.

Very sweet. I'm gonna give these ones a 3 out of 10, just because the flavor felt very artificial.

Gonna jump right to the opposite end of the spectrum with the 72% cacao ones.

I like it. Not super bitter. It feels like they're going for a dark chocolate for the masses.

I'll give it an 8 out of 10, plus the bag matches my shirt.

And now I'm wondering how the flavor of this is gonna vary from the red bean paste manju.

Azuki is very sweet. This really hits it on the head.

I'm gonna go ahead and give this one somewhere between.

I'm stuck between a 7 and an 8 out of 10.

I enjoy Azuki sandwiches, but because of how sweet they are, maybe once a year for me.

Don't know why I thought sniffing the bag would do anything.

I can't describe it, but I understand why it says Four Café.

This, this one is, is just, this one is designed to be done with coffee.

You know, I'm, I'm gonna go ahead and say it, 10 out of 10.

Let's see if we can get it all in one go.

It's Mugi no Megumi no Zenryūhun Biskito I.

And in stark contrast to the amount of sugar I'm gonna consume today, this biscuit is wishing me good health.

But this is that in the most spectacular of ways.

It has a very gentle and underwhelming flavor in the true spirit of a whole grain biscuit.

Next up are these Itōkyū Emonuji Matcha.

That is, why are these, the ones in the boxes all have such long names.

And it seems there's actually another way to open them up.

You can open it up that way and then you can seal it again.

Also realizing that I'm pretty sure I got somewhere between 30 and 40 different types of Kit Kats.

So I want to try them back to back to back.
