Really happy to have an office just for myself.

It's got lots of fun little things in it.

I do love it, but there's a few things that I have that I have made choices on along the way, and I do not like them.

One of the things I'm not a big fan of is my tiny couch.

It's very comically tiny, and I do actually sit on it.

Like, when the heat is on and it's winter and I'm in this room, sometimes I'll come here and I'll lie like this.

I just thought nothing bigger would fit in this space, and I think I've been afraid of bigger furniture because I've come from smaller spaces.

Also, the carpet on the ground is this much smaller rug, which makes the room quite uneven, and it's this peach color, which, it's not really working for me.

I'm gonna be in this place for a while, so I just wanna make it as comfy and as pretty as possible, and I spend so much time in this room, so I just wanna make it the best.

Gonna bring you guys along with me on my journey to revamp my office, and yeah, let me show you the office and show you what we're working with.

Usually that window's open, but I just don't wanna dox myself.

Basically with this shelf, it's just everywhere.

There's just a bunch of stuff, and I wanna make it a little bit more organized and keep the things that really have a lot of significance to me.

Also, this wall is very bare, so I'm thinking some artwork here.

I haven't been able to choose artwork in two years, so I gotta really get into it.

This carpet is a bit small, and I feel like I kinda wanna go for a plainer color.

I need to clear up my cords and everything.

Maybe change the art on the wall, I don't know.

It's a big change, and I'm gonna get used to it, but I think it's gonna be for the best.

Gotta find a way to fix that crinkle in it, but maybe it'll just take time.

So I'm not sure what to do with the other shelves, but I know what to do with this one.

I'm a huge fan of these, like, circular kind of shelves.

So I'm gonna get all my knickknacks and put them on one of those.

These are some lucky leaves I've picked up from sacred trees around Japan over the years.

And then this is a akabeko from Aizu Wakamatsu.

Oh, I also have this matcha thing, which is kind of random.

But yeah, just make it a little bit more simple.

Guys, we just dragged the couch up the stairs.

Yeah, the guy, I got an e-mail the other day, and they were like, just so you know, we can't take it up the stairs for you.

So yeah, thank you, Alyssa. You're the best.

All right, so should we flip it up and put the legs in?
