Today I have come to explore Tokyo's longest shopping street, which is called Togoshi Ginza.

It's a really hot day, I'm ready to eat some snacks and try all the street food, but I can't do it alone!

So we're going to try and keep cool, stay out of the sun and eat some snacks.

It's very obvious that this is the longest shopping street in Tokyo because we can't even see the end, it just keeps on going, it's huge!

That's true, this is actually 1.3km long.

There are a few vehicles out today, but not too many.

But on Saturday, Sunday, Monday, they close the street to cars, so it's completely pedestrian friendly.

But even today, there's not many cars, it's quite nice.

Yeah!  Okay, I'm feeling like a little bit of a sweet treat.

We just spotted this place called Tsuzumi Dango.

It looks like they have a lot of traditional Japanese sweets, so...

Yeah, they've also got some really interesting ones, like mikan warabi.

That sounds really good, I've never seen that before.

Yeah, lots of variety, some really good...

Oh, matcha daifuku with cream in the middle.

Oh, and I think I want a cup of 50 yen mugicha.

Mugicha is like the drink of the summer for the Japanese people, I feel.

Yeah, definitely if you're here in the summer, it's so good.

It's nice and cold, which is good on this hot day.

That's sweet.             I forgot to say itadakimasu, itadakimasu.

I feel like, so I don't know if you guys have had white bean.

The texture's very smooth, but gritty doesn't sound appealing.

But it's got a little bit more texture to it, and then the cream just adds an incredibly smooth other texture.

So I don't know, the multiple textures, and then the chewy matcha on the outside is really great mouthfeel.

The matcha flavor is strong, but not overpowering.

I'm glad that I can taste it, because sometimes you get matcha stuff, and it's just like, where is it?

So yeah, it's very enjoyable, it's very cooling, and I want to eat the rest of it right now.

All right, so I got the zunda dango, and zunda is actually made out of edamame, but they add sugar to it, so it's like this edamame, sweet edamame.

Wow, it's a lot, it has a lot more texture than I was expecting, in a good way.

You can feel the chunks of the edamame, and it's nice and sweet, but like the Japanese kind where it's not overbearing.

Oh, so good and refreshing on a hot summer day.

It's also really hard to find zunda in Tokyo, because it's a specialty in Sendai, so if you come across one, you should definitely give it a try.

It's the Sendai specialty where it's zunda, so edamame beans, but in a milkshake.

For the area, there is a mascot, and his name is Gin-chan.

Gin-chan, I think it's Togashi Ginza no Gin, or Ginjiro or something.

So there's three statues around, this is the health Gin-chan, there's love, and there's also just luck.
