Alright, so I'm here in Ueno and we're going to be taking a look at a monthly mansion which is great for digital nomads, people staying here long term for, I don't know, like a month or even longer than that, or even shorter, I guess we're going to figure it out because the resident, the tenant is right here.

It's an apartment, not a mansion, what they call it back here.

Alright, let's go inside here and we'll ask, we're going to get all the information about this from David here and his experience.

So I've had time to get to know the place.

So you have a key, you key in just like any other apartment complex in Tokyo.

And you get a mailbox as well, you get your own code and key for that.

There's no bellhop for managing your mail or anything.

And over there is the bicycle entrance in case you come in by bicycle.

So if you prefer to travel like that, you have a space for that.

Yeah, we went in there earlier and we got a chance to see the bicycle and the trash area.

So you don't, you need to buy a bicycle or rent one, right?

And the trash area had all the recycled stuff.

Usually you have to separate it and put it out on the day yourself, but I guess there's a trash guy who does all that for you.

They recommend you to do that because, I mean, there's no smell evasion, but it's a pretty rank in there because people do put it in early.

It's not the Tokyo Tower is Fuji that everybody thinks.

So this is the genkan where you would take off your shoes.

Put that like right there, try to line it up for the escape.

This is the apartment that I've been in for about a month now.

You have to kind of be on the lookout, but you get two burners.

Refrigerators here are indeed very small.

We haven't used the fish grill at all because it's really hard to clean.

So I haven't used it much myself, but the fans.

I've been a big fan of our little rice cooker, which came with the apartment, which is awesome.

So you get all of the appliances you pretty much need for everyday life that allows you to cook and clean and do what?

This is a I guess this is on the small side.

And then you have the rice cooker and a water boiler for instant noodles, which you should not be eating.

The toilet is, of course, your standard Japanese toilet.

You live in luxury here, which is really nice.

If you call in this luxury, you have no idea what's out there in Tokyo.

Of course, you get a regular sink, but you get a washing machine included.

I mean, I had to Google kind of what these different settings do and figure them out.

Like this is like a rinse cycle, I believe.

Yeah, because I think the Japanese washing machines, they don't wash as well as the American ones.

I mean, it's louder, but it's not as vigorous and it doesn't do hot water.

And of course, as you see, we don't have a dryer.

You can dry in the bathroom, which is a good time to show kind of the shower room.

If you have one of the new fans, it does heat.

So if you're trying to do your laundry in the morning or at night, you just let it go throughout the evening or the day while you're out.

And when you come home, you have dry clothes.
