I wanted to come on here and give you a little update about what's going on with this channel.

And what's been going on with me in general.

If you watch a lot of videos from creators in the guitar community, you've probably seen a lot of videos about creator burnout and a bunch of other issues.

Both Bradley Hall and Jared Dines did some really great videos on this topic.

You should definitely go and check them out.

I had a cool last week with Bradley and a bunch of other music and guitar creators in the same space, and it was really lovely, everybody, it seems like is in the same boat and everybody feels the same way and has been facing the same issues.

I think that video will be coming out on Bradley's channel soon.

This channel has been through so many phases over the years.

I started off with covers, and then I went into more topical content, and then I went into reaction videos to demos to reviews.

I've done a lot of different formats here.

I've learned a lot through doing all of these different formats, what feels right, what doesn't, but most importantly, what actually makes me happy.

Over the last year or so, I've been feeling quite lost with it, like what's the purpose of this?

What does it all mean and I know that so many other creators feel the same way.

It's so easy to get locked into chasing what works, what the algorithms want to see, what helps you to pay your bills, but then really neglecting what actually makes you feel creatively fulfilled and happy.

So I took a step back, you might have noticed it.

And it really helped to bring me full circle and to help me figure out what it is that I actually want to do.

Instead of trying to keep everything squeezed into one place, I've decided to split things up a bit to give each part of me the space that I need.

I'm very excited to say that the channel you're watching right now is going straight back to my roots.

I'm talking full length covers with music videos to accompany them, which is something that you guys have been asking for for a really long time now and I listened.

I love making music, playing music, and I really love creating videos too.

So doing these music videos is very creatively fulfilling for me.

And also these covers are going to be available to stream on Spotify as well, which is really cool.

There's no pressure for me to talk, there's no algorithm chasing, it's just the stuff that I really want to create.

At the moment, I'm focusing on reimagine covers, so I'm taking songs that I like and then completely recreating them in my own way.

I've done one in this series so far, it's a rock cover of Birds of a Feather by Billy Eilish, and it was so much fun to create.

Alongside this new creative direction, I've also launched a second YouTube channel.

This is where I'm showing up to give back and teach and grow something much deeper with all of you.

This is the place that you're going to find guitar lessons, mindset breakdowns, and honest conversations about what it really takes to improve as a player and as a person.

And if you're interested in evolving, I would absolutely love to see you over there.

I've also relaunched my Patreon, which is fully focused on community and growth.

It's for guitarists, creatives and people on a personal growth journey.

It's super chill, no egos, just everybody trying to support each other to get better.
